We had a fantastic stay at Valley Star Motel. The room was very comfortable, spotless, and well maintained. Everything felt clean and cared for, which made our stay really relaxing. The large heated pool was a huge bonus and perfect for enjoying the warm Penticton weather. Great value and a very pleasant atmosphere — we would happily stay again!
The room is clean and the facilities are very new. The refrigerator, microwave oven, TV, coffee machine are all available. There is a saltwater outdoor swimming pool. What I want to say is that it takes a few minutes to walk to the lake. There is a beach by the lake. The lake is clear and bottomed. There is also a park near the lake. The grass in the park is very green and the trees are very green. You can also play beach volleyball by the lake
More worth mentioning is the boss' enthusiasm
For the price, the size of the room (2 bedroom and kitchen) and the location with convenient parking it’s honestly a very good stay and deal for a family. The beach is literally right there, the parking is in front of your room door and the pool is nice too.
That being said, there’s a few things you should be aware of that other people mentioned in their comments. The bad smell other mentioned is true, it’s on and off smells like laundry that stayed in the washer. The AC/Fridge are indeed loud. The overall cleanliness is not so great, but I believe the beds and sheets were clean and that’s kind of all that matters in the end.
