Esperanza Villas

"Just back from the most relaxing holiday I’ve ever had! The Esperanza Villas are absolutely beautiful and seem brand new. They have everything you could want including air-con in each room which can be individually controlled. The swimming pool was lovely and much bigger than I was expecting, plenty of room for 4 people. The kitchen area is small but has everything you need, including a Nespresso coffee machine. There are 6 villas but we hardly saw our neighbours as the trees and fences dividing the gardens give you lots of privacy. The garden furniture is very comfortable with a choice of chairs, deck chairs or loungers so you can always find the perfect seat to enjoy the wonderful view. There are 2 double bedrooms, each with there own bathroom. The showers are lovely with plenty of hot water. The beds were just perfect, usually when we go away I complain the beds are too hard or my husband thinks they’re too soft but this was exactly right for both of us. Plus it was a double bed rather than 2 singles pushed together like a lot of places seem to have. You can tell that Kalli, the owner, has put his heart into these Villas. He has provided everything you could possibly need and everything is of a very high quality. He is so helpful and was there on arrival to show us how everything worked and give us information on the local area. The views across the fields are beautiful, it’s so quiet and peaceful, I loved just watching the birds and listening to the crickets chirping. Speaking of bugs, there are mosquito nets across the windows and doors so that you can have them open without worrying about bugs getting in. The Villas are set back from the town so it is about a 10 minute walk to the nearest supermarket, it’s only small but it had everything we needed so we didn’t bother going in the car to the nearby Lidl. There are two bikes at the Villas that are free for guests to use (Kalli really has thought of everything!) and my brother had great fun riding down to the supermarket to fill his basket with Mythos! There’s also a wonderful little bakery in the town called “Petit Four by Mary” where they sell the most delicious bread, cakes and other treats, it has a small seating area so you can enjoy a coffee and pastry for breakfast. If you want to eat out, but don’t want to walk down to the beach, there are 2 small cafe/restaurants in the town where you can get traditional Greek food. Everyone we met in the town was so friendly and welcoming. The beach is about a 25 minute gentle walk from the villa, it’s downhill so does take a little longer on the way back up but you can break the journey up with a drink in the town. The beach area has lots of bars, restaurants and shops and a lovely friendly atmosphere. The sun loungers on the beach are free to use if you buy a drink but they’re not pushy so no pressure to keep buying drinks. I honestly can’t recommend Esperanza Villas highly enough, I feel like I’ve discovered a little gem of a place. You get the j"
