Their beds were the biggest disappointment because they still use the old style bed that one person move the other person feels all the movement. If they improve the bed, I would give it a 4 stars."

"We stayed in unit 12. Great big parking space and the room was very clean with a gas fireplace, a queen bed and two singles. A small kitchenette and equipment available should you wish to cook but we were on a mini break and tried a few of the local establishments and cafes. The room: Great room for families. There are two TVs but only one controller. Door key was very tricky to navigate. Needs a review as key would not easily come out of lock. Location: Very quiet and felt safe. Easy walk to Cave Garden and restaurants and pubs."

"Excellent accommodation for a short stay in Mt Gambier. The building itself and decor are in excellent condition and the king-sized beds very comfortable with nice sheets (although the couch could do with a refresh). The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed for a weekend. It's located within walking distance of a supermarket and other shops as well as cafes and restaurants. The car park was fine for a medium-sized vehicle but there is plenty of on-street parking for those with larger vehicles. There's no on-site reception but the access information provided on the day was seamless. I'd stay here again."

"Staff and service excellent. Room was not what I expected from previous visits to this establishment. Not well described. "Garden view room" can mean many things and was not what I expected. The salad served with my room service whiting was bluntly disgusting at $57 plus delivery, a couple of limp bits of frizee lettuce and rocket, I think I identified one piece of very thin, pickled like red onion and a very oily boring dressing. This let them down. I did inform the Barn and they said they would pass it on but no feedback."
