Mountain View Hotels in Linfen

We booked a triple room, which was incredibly spacious and spotless. What truly impressed us was how incredibly helpful and friendly the owner was, providing excellent service. They patiently explained the best sightseeing routes and gave us useful tips for Yunqiu Mountain. The Szechuan food at the restaurant they recommended was delicious, and the breakfast served at the guesthouse was equally tasty. Our car got quite muddy on the journey, and the owner was so thoughtful that they even brought out a hose from their home for us to wash it. Highly, highly recommend!

There are many guesthouses nearby, and after looking around, I chose this one because it was the cleanest, very hygienic, and had free parking. The owner's service was also excellent, making me feel comfortable and attentive. My stay didn't disappoint. The bed was soft and comfortable, and I slept soundly all night. There was also a thoughtful breakfast; I especially want to praise the owner's stir-fried potato shreds—they were absolutely delicious!!! Plus, the guesthouse is located at the foot of Yunqiu Mountain, making it incredibly convenient to get to the scenic area! This guesthouse was truly amazing. We were very satisfied with both the cleanliness and service, and the price was very reasonable—it was excellent value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time! This is my go-to place!!!

Accommodations around Yunqiushan Scenic Area are mainly homestays, with the best quality ones concentrated in Kangjiaping Village, less than six kilometers from the park entrance. Many trendy restaurants are also clustered here. However, considering that the Wannian Ice Cave and Nuoerpo Ancient Village, which I planned to visit the next day, both require a shuttle bus from the park entrance, after some deliberation, I ultimately chose the Novotel Yunqiushan Hotel located inside the scenic area. As our vehicle entered the hotel's private parking lot within the park gates, the surrounding environment immediately convinced everyone in my group that I had made the right choice. Even more delightful was the warm and thoughtful service at the front desk. Upon learning that we were travelers from afar, they directly upgraded us to a mountain-view suite for free. Opening the window revealed a lush green mountain vista, and this unexpected pleasant surprise instantly melted away the fatigue of our journey. When they heard we initially planned to find food in Kangjiaping Village, the staff immediately offered complimentary shuttle service. However, as dusk was setting in and everyone was genuinely tired from traveling, we decided to dine at the hotel restaurant instead, allowing us to rest earlier and properly refuel. Perhaps it was extreme hunger, but every dish that day tasted exceptionally delicious. It wasn't until only half a tail of the steamed sea bass was left that I suddenly remembered I forgot to take photos of the food! Fortunately, I clearly remembered the names of several signature dishes. The four of us ordered four dishes: the hotel's specialty Braised Pork Belly, aromatic Alfalfa Stir-fry with Pork, fresh and tender Steamed Sea Bass, and a refreshing seasonal vegetable dish. I was surprised by how amazing the hotel restaurant's culinary skills were. The Alfalfa Stir-fry with Pork was perfectly savory and well-seasoned with plenty of ingredients. I had worried that the steamed sea bass in a northern hotel wouldn't be as good as those prepared by southern chefs, but after tasting it, I found the texture and flavor to be on par – fresh, not fishy, and wonderfully tender. And the Braised Pork Belly truly lived up to its 'signature dish' reputation, with a perfect balance of lean and fatty meat, soft, flavorful, and melting in your mouth without being greasy. The bill after dinner came out to just over a hundred per person, which was a truly pleasant surprise for such value for money. I genuinely recommend it to friends planning a trip to Yunqiushan! After dinner, we took a leisurely stroll along the hotel's pathway. The evening breeze in the mountains carried the fragrant scent of grass and trees, which was incredibly pleasant. Back in the room, the spacious and comfortable area, elegantly styled furniture, and a soft, skin-friendly king-size bed, combined with the unique tranquility of the mountain night, allowed us to shed all fatigue and quickly fall into a sweet slumber. Setting off for Nuoerpo Ancient Village and Wannian Ice Cave the next day, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the scenic area's shuttle bus stop was right outside the hotel, making travel extremely convenient without any extra rushing. Even more thoughtful, the hotel allowed us to check out after 2 PM, so after our visit, we could return to the room to rest and rejuvenate before calmly continuing our journey. This considerate service added even more charm to our Yunqiushan trip.

The hotel has a good location with a large parking lot in front and the Jinlin Hotel (I think it's affiliated) next door. There are many restaurants and shops nearby, making it convenient to stay here even though it's not in the city center. The hotel reception staff were very welcoming. The rooms are large and clean, but they face the main road, so it's a bit noisy with the windows open, but much quieter with them closed. The breakfast has a wide variety of options, combining Chinese and Western dishes, and tastes very good.

We chose this hotel for our day trip to Linfen. As always, the hotel was very clean, the rooms were a good size, and the receptionist was quick and helpful with check-in. Most importantly, it's incredibly close to the high-speed rail station – only a ten-minute walk. Since most of Linfen's attractions are far from the city center and require taking a shuttle bus or hiring a car, and many of these shuttle buses stop at Linfen West Station, staying here is extremely convenient for getting to the attractions.

The most beautiful hotel in the county, the comfort is no different from that in big cities. I traveled from Guangzhou to Yonghe County to trace my ancestors. Besides fulfilling my wish, God also arranged for me to spend my 70th birthday here. The hotel restaurant warmly served birthday peaches, which was heartwarming and delightful! The food in the restaurant is delicious. There was a thick county annals in the hotel room, which contained the names of my relatives. The people in my hometown are simple and friendly. Qiankun Bay of the Yellow River is not far from Yonghe County. It is an excellent itinerary to come from the Buddhist paradise Xiaoxitian, stay at Wenchang Hotel, and then go to Qiankun Bay and Qingshui Bay to experience the charm of the Yellow River.

The room of the homestay is newly renovated, the store is more enthusiastic, and the overall impression is good. It is a relatively large advantage to be close to Xiaoxitian. It takes a few minutes to walk across the bridge across a river. There is also a food street nearby, and it is not very far from the Drum Tower in Jixian County. The next day, breakfast was eaten nearby fried dough sticks + old tofu, the price was very affordable. Suggestion: improve the low-value consumables grade of the room. The shower needs to be checked in place.

I stayed at Kangjiaping Homestay during my trip to Yunqiushan, and my experience was much better than expected. Tucked away in an ancient village, the courtyard is elegant and peaceful, a welcome escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The interior is clean and tidy, creating a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Our housekeeper, Xiao Wei, was incredibly thoughtful. She assisted us with check-in and luggage, provided helpful tips for avoiding tourist traps, and recommended various restaurants. Her service was efficient, sincere, and perfectly balanced. Our stay was smooth and worry-free, offering a truly restful and healing experience.

As a hotel within a scenic area, the facilities were clean and tidy. We had a view of the Yellow River from our window, and the service was excellent. We received helpful reminders during both check-in and check-out, and even a thoughtful souvenir. The restaurant downstairs had delicious food; compared to where we ate the next day, both the portion sizes and taste were far superior and very reasonably priced.

The entire hotel is located in an ancient village. It rented a courtyard at that time. It has three bedrooms and a tea room. It is very comfortable to stay. The chicken hotpot is very fresh and delicious. The location is relatively remote and you can only drive by yourself. It is about an hour away from Hukou Waterfall and Xiaoxi Tiandu.
