One employee told me that she could go back and start the dryer cycle for me and then I could simply get my washed and dried clothes back the next morning. I greatly appreciate her assistance--it saved me a lot of time! Overall, it's worth staying at this hotel! I noticed during a walk that an inside swimming pool is located in back of it. I would stay here again!"

"Facilities: Very new Cleanliness: Very poor Environment: View of the Fen River, but this greatly diminished the room's appeal. Service: Okay, but this also negatively impacted the room's appeal. Because our flight from Linfen was late, we informed the front desk staff upon check-in, and they extended our check-out time to 2 PM, which we appreciated. The room was on the 13th floor, with a great view and a large area. It was newly opened this year, so all the facilities were new, and the smart control system was excellent, which initially raised our expectations. We thought the cleanliness wouldn't be a problem, but things didn't go as planned. The next day, we were out almost all day. Around 4 PM, we returned to the hotel with takeout food. Around 5 PM, while we were eating, the roommate knocked on the door to come and clean. She apologized for being so late, saying she was too busy and didn't have time, and offered a small fruit platter as a consolation prize (a small apple, a small orange, and two rice crackers from an unknown brand). It was quite awkward as we were all in the room facing each other. She emptied the trash cans in the toilet and next to the table where I was eating, wiped the table, and took away the empty water bottles. On the third day, because we were going to Hukou Waterfall, we left at 7 am and returned to the hotel around 4 pm. Before 5 pm, they knocked on the door again, and as usual, offered a small fruit plate as an apology and asked us to empty the trash can, again with the help of my mother, a woman in her seventies. On the fourth day, I naively thought they would clean the room when they returned while we were out, so my expectations weren't high—just emptying the trash can to avoid an awkward encounter. But I was wrong. At 5 pm sharp, the housekeeper knocked on the door. I was drowsy and quite tired, and didn't intend to open the door, but this woman was persistent, refusing to give up until we opened it. Finally, she rang the electronic doorbell, which was quite loud, and the TV immediately showed the scene outside, startling us. Again, a small fruit plate, but we didn't accept it; my mother, again in her seventies, helped her take the trash out to empty it. We stayed at this hotel for four nights, and observing the situation, it seemed that the occupancy rate on our floor wasn't high since it wasn't peak season. This housekeeper only came to clean around 4 or 5 pm when the guests had all returned to the hotel. The guests were tired and didn't want to be disturbed, so she just made a perfunctory appearance, bringing a small fruit platter and that was it. Other guests who stayed for a day or two didn't notice, but I stayed longer because I didn't want my trip to be too rushed and I hadn't bought a return ticket. These three whole days of behavior combined were truly disgusting – her cleverness, perfunctory attitude, intelligence, persistence, cunning, and laziness. I checked on Ctrip and saw that Zhenghe Hotel was ranked high; having such a staff member really dragged the hotel down and tarnished its reputation, lowering its overall standard."

The breakfast had mild options suitable for kids. Getting around to nearby attractions was convenient, and the room was well soundproofed, so our child's nap wasn't disturbed. It was a very reassuring stay for a family with a baby."

The hotel staff can also arrange pick-up and drop-off from the train station. I'm very satisfied with this trip."

The beds are soft and comfortable, the environment is elegant, the room is quiet like a library, the hygiene is clean, and the service attitude is good. The hotel lobby is equipped with free fruit biscuits and candies, and several homemade hot drinks are attentive. The smart toilet seat heating could not be turned off. I called the front desk to request a remote to turn it off in my room, but they only agreed and never actually did anything. 3. At night, the announcements at the parking gate downstairs were very loud, severely disrupting my rest."

"Five stars, the best review is for the location. The Drum Tower is a landmark in Linfen city. The location of this guesthouse at the entrance of the alley, compared to the special offer price, deserves the highest rating. There's a 7 Days Inn next door, and plenty of affordable restaurants nearby. The small courtyard I was looking for does exist. However, the owner doesn't use the courtyard to enhance the atmosphere; it's just for decoration and scenery, and there's no custom of inviting guests to sit there. Given its proximity to a main road, noise pollution is considerable. Drawbacks: The towels and linens are of questionable hygiene and not recommended. The mattress is sunken, significantly reducing sleep comfort. The patchwork of tile and cement flooring is acceptable because it's hidden by the large bed. The bathroom was very well cleaned; the faucets were sparkling clean. The air conditioning and water heater were powerful. The TV is large, but there aren't many programs to watch; a Tencent Video membership is required. The curtains don't block out light; even with the curtains drawn day and night, light still seeps through the gaps while sleeping."

"Travelled as a group of five, including three elderly people, and the hotel was truly amazing. They paid attention to the elderly, picked us up from the train station, and dropped us off. The bedroom was comfortable, and the breakfast spread was delicious. If you enjoy street food and history, the hotel is in the centre of it all. It is a five-minute car ride from the ancestral tree museum, and just outside the hotel, you can smell a street filled with food, fresh fruits, and vegetables. I would definitely visit again if I wanted to see the museum again. Thank you for an amazing experience."
