Mountain View Hotels in Wuchang

I have to make this review before the winter ends because this homestay deserves all the guests coming to snow town and snow valley. The hospitality of the owners is beyond imagination, i’m not kidding! They have been extremely helpful in guiding us throughout our travel to snow town and snow valley. We communicate using a translator but it still feels like speaking with a friend. Don’t hesitate to ask questions regarding your trip and the activities that you want to do. As for us, we booked a 3d/2n stay with them. They helped us maximize our itinerary as well. 2 nights before our tour, the owner gave us the number of bus driver. We paid the bus tickets in advance. Day 1 8am-2pm - Bus from Harbin to Snow Town (Xuexiang). We left our luggages in the bus. Tickets bought at the entrance. Dont worry about prebooking. Play in Snow Town until 8pm. 8pm - Bus ride from Snow Town to Snow Valley. The bus driver already knows where to drop us. At the bus stop, we were fetched by car and brought to the inn (~2 min ride). Day 2 9am-4pm Play at Guoxiongling Bear Ridge. For 400rmb/pax, we went up the mountain by snowmobile. We played banana boat drift, snowmobile, some went skiing and a super amazing view! There were also fun group activities! :) Note: The owner gave us drone videos of ourselves and took pictures of us. He also brought his insta360 and gave us copies of group activities videos. You can also use this during the banana boat drift which would look awesome with insta360. The owner is also a licensed ski instructed but my husband didn’t want to ski so there’s that. Haha. We went down around 3pm by snowmobile. At 5pm, we ordered dinner from their restaurant. The Northeastern Fish Stew is amazing!! Try it and thank me later. After dinner we did the hot water in ice trick for Free! We also had fun talking about traveling and sharing stories of our pets, while having tea, frozen persimmons, peach and sunflower seeds. 🥰 Day 3 Departure date. Bus leaves at 6am and 9am. They booked the bus for us back to harbin. I wish we could have stayed longer! Room we stayed had a heated Kang bed. The floor had heating too. Toiletries are complete with indoor slippers. Breakfast serving is large! The room is clean, with water heater. On top of that, it’s 1/10th of the price of snow town accommodations. Snow village offers a unique experience away from the glittery lights and sounds of snow town. It is both peaceful and charming. Thank you Liu Bo and your husband for the awesome stay we had. The owner of the B&B is a very enthusiastic family. I stayed there for two days and it was very comfortable. First of all, the environment is better than I expected. Before I came, I saw on the Internet that the accommodation environment in Xuegu was not so perfect, and I had to bring my own slippers, toothbrush, etc. When I came, I found that the owner had prepared everything, including disposable toilet seats, bath towels, toothbrush, etc.; secondly, the food in the B&B is very delicious. I came here specifically for this after reading the previous reviews, and it didn't disappoint me. Finally, the owner's family is very nice! When you come, they will give you frozen persimmons and pears, and take you to play water splashing into ice. At night, because it was New Year's Eve, the uncle took us to set off fireworks, and the next day he took us to see silly roe deer, etc., as well as transportation. As long as you tell the owner, she can help you arrange it. It's really great! ! In short, this accommodation experience is very good. I don't often comment, but this time it's worth writing a 👍🏻👍🏻

Because I read the online review, I didn’t hesitate to book the room. I was not disappointed. Like everyone’s comments, the food was delicious, it was the taste of my mother. The food was all memories. The room facilities were the same as the promotional pictures. The configuration of the brand hotel, the flowers in the yard are gorgeous, I also ate tomatoes in the garden and watched the starry sky. It was a perfect travel experience! Special thanks to Brother Zhou for seeing my back pain and sent me a box of very expensive Tibetan medicine foot bath powder. It was so speechless! Big sister! From our stay, we warmly told us how to play and climb the mountain, especially the delicious food, which is kind like the feeling of returning home.

This inn is conveniently located near the Shanhe Forestry Bureau's business premises, very close to the Xuegu scenic area, making it super easy to get around. The rooms with a 'kang' (heated bed) are warm and comfortable, the owner is very hospitable, and you can enjoy authentic Northeastern farmhouse cuisine here.

The room was much cleaner than I expected! The sheets were snow-white, the bathroom had no odor at all, and the underfloor heating was excellent—it was warm even when you were barefoot. It's such a treat to stay this comfortably in this freezing weather!

This time I came to Xuegu and traveled through the snow village. I rode horse-drawn climbing and snowmobiles. I played snow drifting. I also played in the Bear Ridge. The boss and the boss lady were very nice. I stayed in this homestay for three consecutive nights. The last night was New Year's Eve. The boss lady arranged for the people staying here to make dumplings together and treated us to dumplings. The boss also bought fireworks for us to set off fireworks together. This year, I spent a different New Year with people from different places. The most important thing is that the boss lady's cooking is delicious. You can't go wrong if you come to Xuegu.

Highly recommend for anyone planning a trip to Snow Valley! Nan Nan Homestay has an unbeatable location, incredibly close to the ski resort. After a tiring day of skiing, you can just turn around and head back to rest. The owner is a local and an excellent guide, providing professional service. The attraction tickets they helped us book were cheaper than online, and they even arranged free shuttle service within the scenic area, so we didn't have to lug our luggage around. The rooms are well-equipped with private bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. The large kang bed can accommodate 2-4 people, making it perfect for family trips or traveling with friends. The 'tie guo dun' (iron pot stew) and 'guo bao rou' (sweet and sour pork) at the restaurant are super authentic, with fresh and flavorful ingredients – incredible value for money. We loved our stay so much, we didn't want to leave!

Two families with kids stayed at Ding Shu's place for 4 nights. The rooms were small but very clean. The owner mentioned they plan to expand the guesthouse this year. The owner helped us book everything: round-trip car service, tickets, snowmobiles, and horse-drawn sleds. The prices here are standardized, so no worries about overpaying. The owner drove us to the starting point for the horse-drawn sledding. Ding Shu also personally guided us throughout our trip to Wusong Ridge, accompanying us for all activities and explaining how to get down the mountain. We chose to sled down, which was great fun! Ding Shu even helped us take photos and videos! The auntie's cooking was absolutely delicious!!! And seeing that we were a large group, she gave us extra portions, and the prices were very reasonable!! Since we stayed for many days, the breakfast was a bit repetitive every morning. However, the auntie made us fried eggs and even cooked a bowl of noodles for my friend – thank you! We could also WeChat scan to order milk tea, which the milk tea shop would deliver. They also had fried chicken popcorn and fries. The milk tea was delicious; I ordered it and coffee every day. The owner gave us lots of great tips for our itinerary. Behind the guesthouse, there's a small hill perfect for playing in the snow, with a slope for sledding. The kids played there all day. This whole area belongs to the owner, and it's not crowded, which was perfect for us. When the kids were tired, needed to use the restroom, or wanted to drink water and rest, they could just go back to the guesthouse anytime – it was right there! How convenient! I think this is very important! We played on Yangcao Mountain and then went to Snow Town. We were so glad we didn't stay in Snow Town and decided that next time, we'd sled from the top of Yangcao Mountain back to Snow Valley. We absolutely loved this area of Snow Valley; it has a peaceful, beautiful charm! If we come back to Snow Valley next year, we'll definitely stay here again!!!

First, the pros: The villa offers a great view, right above the snow tubing track, which made the kids very happy. Staying in a detached villa also meant it was quiet. The underfloor heating worked wonderfully, keeping it very warm. The restaurant's food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork) was especially good; other places either charged more or offered smaller, less tasty portions for the same price. On the second day, we went to Wusongling, and there was a guide who was great at getting everyone excited, taught us how to ski, and helped with photos and videos. The 400-yuan ticket was definitely worth it. The owner and their family were all very welcoming! Now for the cons: Upon entering the villa, there was an unpleasant smell, like fresh renovation, though the front desk said it was just the smell of wood. People sensitive to smells might want to be aware of this.

We had a fantastic time at Xuegu! Xuegu is a hidden gem, a secluded paradise, far from the hustle and bustle, less commercialized, and the experience was fantastic. There were no hidden costs for any of the attractions; it was all about quality and value. The guesthouse owner helped us book our trip from Harbin to Xuegu, which was incredibly convenient and reliable. Upon arrival, the owner warmly welcomed us with local delicacies, making us feel right at home. The activities within the scenic area were also very fun, with no time limit, and the owner even provided transportation – it was simply impeccable! We truly experienced the warmth and hospitality of the people of Northeast China. I definitely want to recommend it to all my friends!
