Dimitra Studios
"The rooms are very dated, the bathroom needs modernising. The pool was did not look very clean so we didn’t go in it. Th location was ok although if you were elderly there is a walk up a steep hill. You also need to walk along the main road to for 5 mins to get to the centre"
Canvas by Mitsis Belvedere
"Just got back from a week at Mitsis Belvedere with my partner. I’d been worried having seen some of the negative reviews, but I didn’t need to be- this was the loveliest holiday. So I want to give a detailed review so that nobody else has cause for concern. The hotel overlooks the most stunning sea with amazing mountains behind. It’s a pretty traditional Greek hotel- not super modern and sleek, but cosy and works well. Our room was “mountain view”, but we were at the side of the hotel so we had a great view of both the mountain and the sea. Again- not modern, but traditional wooden furniture, clean and we had everything we needed including a good air con system. Room service came everyday to clean and provide fresh linen and towels; overall we were very happy with our room. There was a fridge in the room and a big bottle of water was provided on arrival. There is a supermarket next to the hotel, but we didn’t need to buy any water as there are water dispensers in the hotel. There are 2 bars- one next to the swimming pool open from early morning to midnight, and the other bar next to the reception, with live sports on TV. Drink selections are good. There is self service soft drinks, water and ice cream (which is delicious) There is also a self serve coffee machine so that you can go for a drink if you’re awake before the restaurant opens. There was evening entertainment, a different band every night and a Greek dancing night. We enjoyed each one! The food was EXCELLENT! The reviews about poor food don’t make any sense to me. There’s a great salad bar, fresh meat and fish, and lots of local dishes. We never saw the same dish twice (except breakfast of course) The food is very Greek (as it should be!) and was labelled to say what it was. But if you’re not into that kind of food, there is the usual pasta, chips, pizza etc. I’m gluten intolerant and never struggled to figure out what I could eat, although I did see the restaurant manager happily explain to another gluten intolerant lady what she could and couldn’t eat. The staff were wonderful, polite and hard working and a credit to Mitsis. The whole hotel was clean and well maintained. We felt safe and well looked after. The beach is stunning. It’s pretty small so get there straight after breakfast if you want sun beds. There is a little beach bar that serves water and ice cream (perfect to cool down), but if you want alcohol then you can get it from the pool bar and take it to the beach. We were lucky enough to see dolphins swimming past the hotel twice. It’s a pebble beach, you really can’t navigate the terrain and get into the water without sea shoes- flip flops aren’t enough. We picked up sea shoes for €10 per pair in Benitses. The pier is beautiful and fun to jump off the end! There are lots of fish and it’s well worth buying a snorkelling set. The swimming is lovely. The pool is usually busy. The pool itself is a good size and temperature. There is the usual pool music and an enterta"
Hotel Benitses Arches
"Extremely friendly staff; we were warmly welcomed upon arrival. The property is beautiful, with a particularly well-kept outdoor garden. Very close to the sea."
Galini Sea Apartments
"Seafront location with spacious balconies. The apartments are old fashioned but very clean. Tavernas close by or just a short walk to the main square with a good selection of taverns. Sunbeds and umbrellas are free on the apartments private beach."
Armonia GuestHouses by Konnect, Benitses
Galini Studios
"Galini studios a room never renovated for at least 40 years with muffa smell. The bathroom (monolocal n.3) measures cm 165 x140 with open door to the inside."
Avra Boutique
Passas Mare Apartments & Studios
"Superb apartment complex with swimming pool. Apartment interiors are of modern design and are kept spotless, with useful fridge (with icebox) microwave and hob. Continental buffet style breakfast available should you wish. A short walk from the beach and supermarkets and tavernas on the Benitses main road. Highly recommended. "
Avra Budget Beach Rooms
"Nightmare rooms, leaky sink, zero cleaning. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there. The floors were dirty and never cleaned, the walls were black and smelled rotten. The shower didn't work properly, and there was no one to file a complaint."
