"The owner is nice, the hotel has a beautiful view, and you can even go boating for free. The only minor issue is that it was very windy on the second floor where we stayed. It was too stuffy when the door was closed, and the wind was especially loud at night when the door was open. But it's still definitely worth staying here!"

With Cape Town fully booked due to the Mining Indaba, I was lucky to find this charming boutique guesthouse a little further out—and what a find it was! Hosts Kerime and Kolaann were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The decor, true to its Ottoman House heritage, is elegant and full of character, offering a unique and intimate atmosphere. While my visit was for business and I didn’t get to fully enjoy all the amenities, I could see why this would be a perfect place to unwind, especially with the beach just a short walk away. I’ll definitely return when I have more time to appreciate the full experience. If you’re looking for a charming and hospitable retreat in Muizenberg, Bella Ev is a fantastic choice!"

"This was my second time staying at the Muize B&B. Its a lovely, comfortable and welcoming B&B in a great location. The rooms are spacious and clean with great views to the front of the property. Meg is lovely and answered any questions I had. The breakfast everyday was very good too. Fresh fruit, cereals, toast and a cooked breakfast! I will be back to stay again when next visiting."
