"Located in Nanyuki Town, the hotel is a large block with more then enough free parking. The reception is friendly and check-in was reasonable quick. The standard room however, is small, even for "standard". You can barely move around the (small double-) bed and one can't turn in the bathroom. It wasn't really clean and the view, at the back, is on right in the room of the nextdoor neighbour. You have to close the curtain to get some privacy. The breakfast is reasonable and the staff there is helpful and attentive."

"The hotel representatives said they didn't have an account on trip.com, they didn't get this money. However, I was settled without any extra payment and provided the promised breakfast. The room was twisted, but everything worked, there was warm water. The windows went out on the street, the weekend night was noisy."

"My friends and I stayed in Nanyuki but went to Le Rustique often for breakfast or dinner. The food is always excellent, prices are affordable, and the staff are super friendly. We sometimes went on a weekend day to eat/drink and use the pool which is great. There is also a spa there - bonus! Have not stayed overnight here however wouldn't hesitate to in the future. Love the place!"

"We stayed here while doing a Habitat for Humanity build outside of NanYuki. I was not expecting to be at such a special/quaint place for the week. We stayed in the cottages and had an abundance of space. The staff is very accommodating. Mr. G went out of his way to make sure that everyone had what they needed and he even had a special cake made for one of our final nights to celebrate the work we did on the build. He also set up a bonfire for us one night down by the river so we could have drinks and talk around the fire. There is a cute rustic bar and TONS of cute areas with tables to sit and have a drink, eat, play cards and hang out. The Old House was a very special place and the pictures don’t do it justice. We had a wonderful stay!"

The property is also located within a fenced area, offering a quiet neighbourhood experience. A high value property. These are a view things to consider when staying here. It is located away from the main road, making it more accessible with your own car. Not a problem for us. Food is not available on site, but given the kitchen available, cooking our own meal is possible."

"I had the luck to live just round the corner from Le Rustique for two years. We used the restaurant and pool facilities on a regular basis and were never disappointed. Food always great quality, delicious wine and cocktails and the staff are absolutely wonderful. We then stayed for two nights before we moved and it was a perfect end to our time in Kenya, in our favourite place. The rooms were lovely and clean. Nice bright bathrooms with super nice showers and very comfortable beds. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Le Rustique. It is such a lovely warm and welcoming place and we miss everyone very much!"

"We stayed there with 7 couple for a week. Its a really nice place with several building spead over a nice garden next to a river. In the garden you come across nice birds and animals. Mr G proved to he a great host, helpful and surprising us several times adding to the experience. His sister Flor provided us with nice food every evening The rooms are basic but clean and cleaned daily Since our stay they also make you a fried egg😀"
