"Yes it’s an older hotel but the rooms are spacious and the location unbearable, we had lovely ocean views from the balcony. Cons: older hotel, no lift. Room smelled of cleaning products initially but this was taken care of by the air conditioning."

"Suitable for anyone. Great size room beautifully presented and nice and clean. Fantastic views f the bay and the sea. Woke about 6 am and watched boat after boat going out . 3 nice restaurants very close byand a great boardwalk to start the day off. Highly reccomend it."

"It was great to see unique hotel settings. Room was good but the bed could be better it kept sinking in. Hotel amenities were provided as per usual. Hotel settings are a unique feature. Location is super as it is in town walking distance to various shops and restaurants. Breakfast was not great but pricey I think that's to expect when you eat at the hotel. "I stayed in one of the self-contained motel apartments at the Napier Beach Kiwi Holiday Park and Motels. At the same time there were plenty of people with tents and mobile homes/campers. The location is excellent in that it is right on the beach and being far enough away from SH1 so that it is really calm and with no noise. Very well looked after by friendly management. Highly recommended."

"We booked this hotel last minute and arrived within 20 minutes. The check in was smooth and everything was immaculately set up for us. The location is very good - walking distance to the beach, playground, shops and restaurants; yet far away from all the noise in the town. We stayed at the top floor and can hear seagulls from the roof. However, they were no trouble as they went to sleep when the sun was down. Lovely stay and we would book it again."
