New Hotels in Changchun

"I snagged a promotional package deal and booked my stay for New Year's Day well in advance. To my surprise, there was no price increase, which made the whole process incredibly smooth. Upon arrival, it seemed they upgraded our room directly to the club floor. The hotel is brand new, so all the facilities are modern and very clean. It's conveniently located next to Wanda Plaza, making shopping very easy, and getting to the high-speed rail station by taxi is also quick. The front desk is on the ground floor, which is also the second floor of the hotel. There's what looks like a planned café area and a small kids' zone. The room isn't exceptionally large, but all the amenities are smart: a smart toilet, a smart TV (which automatically displayed ”Dear Mr. X and Ms. Y” upon entry), and smart curtains. The lighting is very bright (which we prefer) and comprehensive. The bathroom has a good wet/dry separation, a spacious and functional vanity, and the shower provides hot water very quickly. The in-room hardware is pretty much all essential and well-equipped. You can call directly by saying ”Xiao Du” (the smart assistant's name). The breakfast restaurant isn't huge, but it's currently sufficient. It's amazing how they manage to offer both Western and Chinese options, including congee, a noodle bar, various hot Chinese dishes, sausages, eggs, milk, coffee, tea, juice, yogurt, salad, and fruit. On the first day, they even had tofu pudding! Now for a few minor drawbacks: 1. The lights and exhaust fan in the wash area are all controlled by a single switch, so they can't be operated independently. The exhaust fan and toilet flushing (smart flush) are quite loud; loud enough to wake up family members if used in the middle of the night. 2. The shower stall didn't have an anti-slip mat or plastic shower slippers. When I asked the front desk, they explained that these aren't disposable items, so they couldn't provide them (doesn't this go against environmental principles? Or am I misunderstanding?). Their proposed solution was to offer more disposable slippers or floor towels. We felt they completely missed our point, so we didn't bother asking for anything. In the end, we had to shower barefoot very carefully. 3. The wardrobe came with a full-length mirror, which was great, but it surprisingly had built-in lighting. I looked everywhere for a switch, only to find out it was powered by a separate plug. I had to unplug it. 4. Currently, no children's amenities are provided. On the brighter side, the service was actually quite good. The front desk and restaurant staff were generally very accommodating. Food delivery by robot to the room was also very convenient and cute."

"This Atour Hotel enjoys an excellent location, within walking distance of Nanhu Park, The Hill (“Zhe You Shan”), and Wanda Plaza, making sightseeing and getting around extremely convenient. The front desk staff kindly upgraded my room, and even helped bring my luggage in during the rain. The service was warm, attentive, and thoughtful. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, offering great value for money. This would definitely be my first choice whenever I visit Changchun."

"The hotel room was spacious, and both the bed and pillows were very comfortable. During my stay, there was a promotion where I got a free pillow. The front desk staff were enthusiastic, and the WeChat customer service was always quick to respond. The laundry room had 5 washer-dryer machines, and the staff even folded my clothes and delivered them to my room, which was super convenient. A big thanks to the guy who helped me carry a bunch of packages upstairs on the evening of February 14th. I really hope the prices don't go up in the future. I definitely don't want to go to the one on Hongqi Street! 😂"

"The hotel has a great location, but not much of a view. The interior design was definitely to my liking, though I only snapped a few quick photos during my visit. I didn't even have time to try the breakfast. There were some issues with my room, but they were resolved promptly, thanks to the manager on duty that night. (However, the issue of calling Mei Hua Hotel is something they really need to address; it was quite ridiculous.) This hotel opened 26 years ago; I hope it continues to improve!"

"I arrived quite late, but they had a parking spot reserved for me, which was super convenient in the underground garage. I took the lift straight up to the 26th floor. The hotel is brand new, with simple yet stylish facilities. The 2-meter king-size bed was amazing, and the room was spotless, not a spec of dust anywhere! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and all the bedding felt brand new. I loved the extendable desk lamp design. The whole room was smart, and even the toilet seat was heated. There were complimentary welcome fruits. The laundry room had dryers and ironing facilities. The next morning, I walked to 'Zhe You Shan' and Wanda Plaza, which were both just a 10-minute stroll away. When I came back late, the front desk even extended my check-out time to 2 PM for free. The service was absolutely superb, highly recommend!"

"The room is exactly the same as the picture, it is a standard creamy wind, clean and refreshing. The overall color is warm, it looks very comfortable, there is no cheap plastic feeling. The bedding is soft, the air conditioning is strong, the hot water is fast, there are some, and the living is very worry-free. The hotel has complete facilities, complete room facilities, kettles are high-end goods that can be kept warm, bottled water is provided free of charge, not enough to go directly to the elevator on the floor; There are two sets of washing machines and dryers, which are also very powerful and not crowded. The gym facilities are complete, equipped with free bottled water and towels. I feel that the hotel is thinking about the guests from the perspective of facilities configuration. The management leaders are attentive. The hotel's hygiene can't be said. It is very good. It is clean and tidy. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry. Towels and slippers are changed every day. The sheets and quilts are very comfortable. The breakfast is varied and varied, and Chinese and Western food are all available; not that simple breakfast."

"The room was clean, tidy, comfortable, and quiet. Even though the hotel is in a busy area, the soundproofing was excellent, and I slept really well at night. It's also very close to the night market, which made it super convenient to go out and grab some delicious food."

"I stayed at the Fairfield by Marriott Changchun Chaoyang for three nights over two days, and overall, my experience was pretty good. The hotel's facilities are excellent, with all the essential amenities readily available. The room was clean and well-equipped. The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to get around by taxi or public transport, which is perfect for business travelers. The only significant drawback is that all king-bed rooms face the main road. If you open the window, the traffic noise from the street is very noticeable. At night, you have to keep the windows tightly shut to get any sleep, which really impacts the ventilation experience."

"This Vienna International Hotel (Jilin Road) is still good. Free upgraded room type, the room is big enough, clean and tidy, intelligent facilities, and super convenient delivery robots. The bedding is comfortable, the zero-pressure memory pillow sleeps particularly fragrantly; the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the hot water is stable and sufficient. The experience is good and worthy of praise."
