"Great place to stay at Lake Natron but could be improved to be excellent. The views of the lake and the grounds were all incredible. Lovely natural type pool to cool off as the area is very. Room (stone building) was spacious but simple. The staff were lovely and always happy to help. Unfortunately our shower literally dribbled out which made showing impossible. Also the wifi is atrocious and only works in the main area, but even then it hardly works unless you are 1 m from the office. Apparently they just use a staff members phone as a hotspot… we weren’t there to be on our phones but even just to message family would have been nice! The most questionable point was charging for water with meals. It seems a bit ridiculous to charge for a basic thing like that when you are paying for a room and meals in your fee. This was the only place we stayed in our 3 week trip that charged for plain water… Finally, for other reviews complaining about bugs… that’s nature, you are literally in the middle of Africa and it’s all part of the experience! The bugs don’t hurt you, just tiny little flies attracted to the light."

"Great: location, with views on the lake and mountains and 20-30 mins walk from a small village. Also nice garden and setup of the tents, with good bathroom. Also excellent WiFi solely in the restaurant area. Natural water pool, refreshed regularly from the river that runs through the area, is cute; warm water, and don't worry about the slippery bottom as that is the consequence of the rocky material. Points to improve: wiring in the room (exactly 1 outlet which is shaky and even needs an adapter for their own fan), and the set menus of the restaurant. A bit too boring and oily."

It was a great experience of being around national park as we herd some wild life sounds. Highly recommend to stay here."
