"In Nola for work, a client of mine (thinking he was doing me a favor) booked me a suite in this hotel. From the outside, the hotel looks decent with a modern structure. As soon as I entered my "suite," I wanted to change hotels, but it was late and I was tired. Aside from the presence of a camp bed in the room without having requested it, the bed only had a duvet with no blanket or duvet cover, and I strongly doubt that the duvet was washed between each change of guest. Under the sheet was a "topper," which consisted of a 6/8 cm thick layer of foam rubber with no protection (see photo), thus a receptacle for any dirt. The French window of the room overlooked a terrace shared with the other rooms, so to have a little privacy, both the curtain and the window had to be closed. There was also an air freshener in the room that filled the room with a nauseating odor. The room's furnishings consisted of low-quality furniture mixed with 1970s and 1980s pieces from apartments somewhere that had nothing to do with the rest of the decor. Also in front of the bed was a two-person whirlpool tub with a mirror whose cleanliness left much to be desired and a huge brick shower that could have accommodated several people. A terrible experience, practically a nightmare."
