Cambria Hotel Lake Placid - Lakeside Resort ★★★
"Very nice room, highly recommended"
The Whiteface Lodge ★★★★
"Nice experience!"
Hotel St Moritz ★★
"Took a while to get room key. I even called the day before to inquire about checking in. Finally I just ask anyone who walked by since there is no reception person at the front desk and no envelope with my name. Overall it is tired and in need of refreshing updates. Room is clean. But you can hear noises from other rooms even conversations. I will not be coming back."
Maple Leaf Inn Lake Placid ★★
Cascade Inn ★★
Eastwind Hotel Lake Placid ★★
"Very nice stay. Definitely recommanded accomodation in Lake Placid."
Best Western Adirondack Inn ★★★
High Peaks Resort ★★★★
"Great environment, there is a lake nearby, I hope I can come again next time, there is an Olympic pavilion nearby, if you can provide hot water, it can be better, thank you for the service,"
Town House Lodge ★★
"I didn't want to evaluate, but I still wanted to give it. Really, considering the popular holiday area in which it is located, maybe this Motel is not too bad, so the evaluation is quite high. But my feeling is that this price, I really can't give high marks. To say good place, the location is OK, the parking space is loose."

Grand Adirondack Hotel, Lake Placid, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
"Where do I begin? We couldn't find an entrance way to the parking area. There was no sign to say entrance. We entered the front door as we thought that was the entrance way. No one was around and finally after a few minutes a bartender? came out and told us the entrance was in the back or upstairs. We drove around the back and parked our car only to be told it was valet parking and he would need our keys. No where did it say that. It did say on the website limited parking we have to pay for. We then proceeded to the registration desk which was a very dark area, not lit very well. The clerk kept sitting in his chair and didn't say much, not a real welcoming event. The valet person followed us in and once again explained it was valet/limited parking and would need our keys and a $19.00 fee. We said ok and as we got our room keys we went up to the room, 4th floor, once again a very dark atmosphere. The room was set up very strange with a sitting area in the center of the hotel room, not where you could see downtown or the lake. The bed was in the room where the city view could be seen, but only buildings. We were not very pleased and decided we didn't want the room. I called and the desk clerk spoke to the manager and said we could have an upgraded room with a somewhat better view, and wouldn't have to pay anymore. We asked if we could see the room first but he said we could not. We had to reserve it first. We felt that was strange and decided we wanted our money back and would leave. The desk clerk said he would cancel our stay. When we went back downstairs a different person (Ireland was her name) on the desk, very friendly, and she said she would cancel the room and we should see a credit in three to five days. We have stayed at the Crowne Plaza before and it was wonderful, but we thought we would like to try something different. We were very disappointed to cut our stay."
Lake Placid Club Lodges

Grandview Lake Placid
"The winter scenery is so beautiful. The location is very good. It is next to the Lake Placid Olympic Center and the ice hockey venue. There are many players who come to train for competitions. The hotel room can directly see the mirror lake. The hotel's food is also good and tastes very good."
Courtyard Lake Placid
Rodeway Inn
"Very dated rooms, they were clean but need some major updates. Bathroom walls peeling off, burn marks on the bathroom counters, chairs in the rooms very dirty/broken in. The indoor pool is not functioning, seems as if it has been this way a while yet advertised to be up and running."
