Initially, on the first day, we experienced a few hiccups related to food service, housekeeping, and room cleanliness. However, after we brought these concerns to the notice of the General Manager, the entire team responded very positively and ensured that everything was promptly taken care of. The hotel pleasantly surprised us with a complimentary anniversary cake, movktails and beautiful room decoration, which truly made our special occasion memorable and heartfelt. The sea view from our room was absolutely stunning and one of the highlights of our stay. The hotel is also conveniently located close to many beautiful beaches in Goa. We were looked after very well by the staff, and the food was customised according to our taste and preferences with great care. Overall, it turned out to be a wonderful and memorable stay, definitely worth repeating again."

"Hotel isnt a customer friendly hotel. After indigo flight cancellations debacle, they only gave credit for 3 months. After speaking with front desk manager they said, we have already received your money. You can do what ever you want. They said our policies are more important than a situation beyond human control. We were forced to come there after a week. Checkin process very poor. We booked garden suite. Room condition extremely poor. Hot water only comes for a minute. They have geezer. Ac remote wasn't working. We had infant with us. No proper care taken. Lot of mosquitoes inside the room. Breakfast was unhygienic. Flies and mosquitoes all around. Extremely limited options to eat. Food was cold. Stortage of staff. Unable to manage customers. Dont go by their photos and videos kept on Instagram or any other third party website. Completely a different picture when you see the same in person. Overall a pathetic experience. There are many near by properties such as Riva, mayfair, goa beach resort."

The only minor drawback was the presence of mosquitoes, which was a bit disappointing; however, we understand that this is due to the weather conditions and natural surroundings. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and were very satisfied with the experience. We would definitely recommend the Marriott Resort & Spa, Goa to our friends and family, as it is one of the best places to stay for comfort, service, and scenic beauty."

"Had an amazing 3 days at this resort. I’ve never come across such friendly considerate staff. From check in to check out, everything was so awesome. The breakfast buffet was wonderful ! The staff went out of their way to make sure we tried the local fare which was yummy ! Have to mention a housekeeping staff called keeping staff by name - Savalaram. He found a gold hoop earring I had lost and turned it in to the manager. Such an honest person ! Thank you Savalaram! Can’t wait to go back to enjoy the hospitality against! Location was superb ! Very safe and near some wonderful beach restaurants! Calm waters and beautiful sunsets !"

"Very Disappointing Stay – Not Recommended Without Personal Transportation( with out own vehicle) I am currently staying at White Woods Resort by Stone Wood Hotels in Villa 22 from June 6 to June 9, and today is only my first day. Unfortunately, the experience so far has been extremely disappointing. A short period of rain was enough to flood the roads and pathways around the resort. The access route to the beach and the main road became completely waterlogged, making it difficult, uncomfortable, and unsafe to walk. As guests without a personal vehicle, we feel effectively stranded inside the property. What is even more concerning is the response from the staff members. When we raised the issue, we were repeatedly told that the matter had been "fixed," despite the flooding being clearly visible and unchanged. No one came to inspect the situation, offer assistance, suggest transportation options, or provide any practical solution. The response felt dismissive and showed a lack of concern for guest safety and comfort. Guests should be informed before booking that access to and from the resort can become severely affected during rainy weather. A resort should provide support and accurate information when such situations occur, not simply dismiss guest concerns. After only one day of my stay, I already feel frustrated and uncomfortable. This is far from the relaxing holiday experience that was advertised. Unless you have your own vehicle and are prepared for potential access issues during the rainy season, I would not recommend staying here."
