"设施一流,景色迷人,但服务人员真的很非洲,不要期盼太多。 Facility is great.nice infinity pool to swim and fabulous bey view. Room also big with a very good bathtub . Try their massage you be surprised. Let’s talk about things need improvement. 1.mid night to 2am there’s construction knocking on going in restaurant which is right beside my room. I heard it loud and clear i just didn’t dare to believe this is what happened in a high end hotel. It’s common sense not to make noises during night time any level hotel. in the end i ran out 2am to restaurant to order them stop make noises at this hr. so they stopped. 2.then again 6am gardener is walking around besides my room several times. I can hear very clearly he is walking around and watering. Is that necessary to do gardening so early when ppl still try sleeping? really needs to train their employees to v some basic knowledge what not to do."

"An incredible stay! The beach views were stunning, and the location was perfect for getting around to local activities. The rooms were spotless, but what really made the experience was the warm hospitality from the staff and the delicious food. Highly recommended"

"Check-in: 5/5 The check-in process was fast and efficient. All advance requests regarding the room were fulfilled perfectly, and the staff responded to my pre-arrival emails promptly and clearly. No security deposit was required. No welcome drinks were offered. Internet vouchers are available immediately at check-in, with a unique password provided for each device. A towel card for beach towels is also given. Reputable hotels should abandon the outdated practice of towel cards, especially since the towels themselves are worn and unlikely to be taken as souvenirs by guests. Check-out: 4/5 Check-out is strictly at 11:00. At 10:50 housekeeping was already waiting by the door. A two-hour late check-out came with an unfriendly surcharge of 50 EUR. Room (#814): 4/5 The room is spacious and well-appointed for a 4-star property, but I have to lower my rating due to visible wear and tear. The toilet paper holder was loose and falling off the wall. Both the shower and sink faucets were leaking and splashing water in all directions, causing water to seep from the bathroom into the corridor and the room itself. Hot water pressure was generally good, with only one disruption during a two-week stay. Toiletries are basic: shower gel, shampoo, and soap. The bathroom lighting is very dim. Wardrobe doors are saggy and do not close completely. The balcony door also does not close fully, so the latch cannot be engaged. While the hotel and island felt very safe (no risk of a break-in), if a neighbour on the adjacent balcony smokes, the smell is distinctly noticeable inside the room. The balcony view itself is pleasant. The in-room safe is spacious enough to fit a laptop easily. A mini-fridge is available but barely cools, and the minibar is empty. Only one small bottle of drinking water is provided upon arrival; guests must purchase any additional water thereafter, which is unusual for a hotel at this level – an odd area of cost-cutting. The air conditioner works efficiently. I found the mattress and pillows uncomfortable and slept poorly. The room is exceptionally quiet – no noise from neighbours or hotel staff. The only sound was a cow mooing in the nearby village in the mornings, which didn't bother me much. Housekeeping does not intrude early; cleaning is conducted discreetly, quickly, and to a high standard. Useful extras included a large beach bag and two umbrellas. There were occasional power outages, lasting from 5 to 30 seconds. Breakfast: 5/5 Breakfast is very good for a 4-star hotel, with a fairly wide selection, though the menu is identical each day except for two varieties of freshly squeezed juice that rotate daily. Fruits are limited to melon, pineapple, papaya, and bananas. Service is attentive and efficient, with plenty of available tables, including many with beautiful sea and beach views. There are never any lines. The only minor drawback: omelets were prepared slowly, likely due to low stove power rather than staff efficiency. Beach: 5/5 The beach is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with sun loungers and umbrellas always available. Hotel staff regularly clean seaweed from the beach. Security guards are always present, so belongings could be left unattended without worry. Beach vendors keep a respectful distance and do not bother guests. The sea is generally clean, although occasional seaweed may drift in. Tides are minimal and do not cause inconvenience. The sun is very intense; sunscreen of at least SPF 50 is highly recommended during the first days. Pools: 5/5 The hotel has two nice swimming pools, both with plenty of loungers and umbrellas available at any time. Guests: The atmosphere is relaxed, mostly attracting couples without children. The majority of guests were from Eastern Europe (Poles, Czechs or Slovaks). I did not encounter any Russian-speaking guests at the hotel during my stay."

"A majestic site nestled between the lake and the ocean. A large white sand beach on the lake side. Clean bungalows overlooking the beach offer good value for money. A boat shuttle is included, taking you there in 210 minutes from Manambato, located just opposite. We ate at the restaurant under a kiosk on the beach. Tasty dishes at a good price. Very helpful and responsive staff. A must-see!"

"This was a last-minute one-night booking when our travel agency realised that we would not be able to get a boat from Nosy Be to the island on which we were due to stay before nightfall. We had a very pleasant stay and in many respects I rather wish we'd stayed here rather than the other place; Manga Soa is much more characterful. And it seems that the majority of the excursions that all the lodges offer are similar (and probably of a similar price). Things I wasn't so keen on were the road leading to the lodge and the rather dimly lit room (Number 12). However, the room was large, clean and comfortable and the bathroom was also a good size, with a decent shower. The members of staff who ran the bar and served food were fabulous. What charming people! My French is pretty non-existent but we got everything we needed and were made to feel very welcome. Full marks. The food was good, without being exceptional. All in all a nice place to stay."

"Had a great stay in this place. I was specifically looking for a place in Ambatoloaka since tours to Nosy Iranja leave from here. The hotel’s location is great. There are lots of restaurants, bars, shops, and ATMs nearby, and the beach is only a short walk away. The staff is great. The free buffet breakfast was good with varied selections, the restaurant serves good food too. The room i had was great, all rooms have a sunset view. Laundry service was very cheap. I also loved the fact that they accept credit cards—- many hotels in Madagascar don’t, including some fancy ones. It’s such a hassle carrying a huge pile of cash upon check out. Had to deduct a point though cause the pillows provided were very hard! The wifi was also very spotty if you’re not in the pool area."

"Let’s talk about the advantages first: the restaurant has a good view and can see the sea. The room has a bathtub. Let’s talk about shortcomings 1-The location is very poor. There is no beach. To get to the street, you need to walk uphill for fifteen minutes in the dark on a dirt road full of wild dogs. It is very inconvenient to go out or come back at night. 2- The guy at the front desk didn't tell the truth. The various travel items and car rental prices quoted changed from time to time. The price started from the ground up. One minute, it was 42 pounds, and the next minute it was 72 pounds. I took a tuk-tuk to see the macaques. He said that the round trip cost was 120,000 local currency, and 30,000 was enough for me to hail the bus myself. After joining the group, I found that the travel items he mentioned were completely inconsistent and the condition of the boat was also very poor. 3-During my stay, I had bad juice twice for breakfast, bad yogurt once, and meat that was not very fresh once. The room was not cleaned one day during our stay. The swimming pool is quite dirty, so it's okay to take pictures, but there are all kinds of dirty things floating in it when you stand in it. In short: at first glance, the room looked okay, but it was all a routine and the conditions were limited. One of the staff at the front desk was untrustworthy and very uncomfortable to deal with."

Palm Beach Resort & Spa ★★★★
"This large resort sits on Palm Beach, a beach that combines upscale resort and spa, upscale restaurants, and local vendors selling musical instruments, fabric, ylang ylang, vanillas and souvenirs. The resort offers impeccable dining, snack, and beverage service poolside by chaise lounges, standard tables on the patio, in the bar area, and in open air covered standard tables. Today I ordered a green tea, and the detox beverage made with pomegranate, ginger, and honey. Menus are 6 page sof light colored paper with legible dark letters on a clipboard for easy access. The pool is breathtaking with a great view of the water. Just past the pool, one can rent the thatch cabanas, a variety of water sports equipment and even take some lessons. The main area of the resort is accessible with wide walkways of non-skid surface. natural lighting. Excellent venue for a family or romantic getaway."

"We had a very bad experience at this lodge. They advertise as a Lodge and as a restaurant. We went there to have lunch to catch a plane afterwards. On Arrival they let us wait 20 minutes at the entrance of the Lodge. After 20 minutes we were invites in. It left us 1 hour for lunch. They told us we could have lunch but had to pay at least 25 euro per person, if not we had to leave again. It felt like a scam, worst hospitality we ran into during 5 weeks of traveling through Madagascar. So allthough we can’t commend on the quality of the lodge we would like to warn you about there 25 euro rule which is not mentioned on there website. So for us it was a nasty suprise after spending our money to get there. This has nothing to do with Madagasian hospitality the rest of the restaurants we went to showed us."

Hôtel Villa les Orchidées ★★★★
"Pros: Spacious room (we had a Big Panoramic Suite with Sea and Garden View) with a large bathroom (shower) and a huge terrace with a stunning view! The room has everything you need (air conditioning, fan, kettle, refrigerator), and the bathroom fixtures are new and in excellent condition. The bed is large. Everything is great. The hotel is very clean and tidy. The hotel staff is very friendly and eager to please. They arrange airport transfers (80,000 local), and you can book excursions (the price is the same as everywhere else). They try to help with any questions. Cons: There's almost no private grounds, only a small but lovely pool with 5-6 sun loungers (always available). It's a 6-minute walk down to the sea, but the sea isn't beautiful; the bottom is muddy, so no one swims. Cons: The breakfast is very poor (pancakes, yogurt, samsa, buns, some fruit, drinks); you have to pay extra for scrambled eggs and omelets (5,600 local). Water is not provided in the room. The toiletries provided are only soap. But the gorgeous view and huge room make up for the downsides :)"

Marina Hotel Ambatoloaka ★★★
"Marina Hotel, Ambatoloaka, Nosy Be Even a five-star palace has a few little flaws, so for the very affordable price of a night at Hotel Marina in Ambatoloaka – Nosy Be, you can rest assured that, like most guests, you’ll only remember the good stuff — and there’s plenty of it! First of all: cleanliness! Absolutely spotless. Don’t be surprised if you see both the staff and even some guests walking barefoot across the shiny tiled floors! The room, the bathroom, the brightly colored bed linens (changed every two days, along with the towels) — everything is pristine. I stayed in Room 8 on the second floor: a breathtaking view of the Indian Ocean and sunsets that are simply out of this world! The owner, Mr. Christian, and, I believe, the front desk manager — a stunning young lady named Didi — are kindness itself. They greet you and help you with genuine smiles straight from the heart. Take my word for it — you’ll love it!"
