"The hotel has beautiful water. The room was okay, but we found two cockroaches. It lacks a spa and hot springs. The staff are friendly, but there was a mix-up when paying for two cocktails at the bar with cash, as they didn't give us our change back and we had to ask for it. They couldn't offer us a late check-out, which slightly marred our honeymoon. You have to leave the room by 11 AM. Everything else was fine; on the first day, we felt very welcomed and happy, they made us feel special, but our experience gradually declined. We are considering whether to return to this chain or try others."

"Marie and her family's hospitality truly defies description. They graciously picked us up from the main island (for a nominal fee) and welcomed us to their lodge late in the afternoon. The room was impeccably clean and tidy, with the added comfort of powerful air conditioning. Following Marie's suggestion, we dined at the yacht club and then retired for the night. The next morning, we awoke to a delightful homemade breakfast featuring scrambled eggs, fruit salad, juice, and coffee. Marie kindly took the time to share insights about her stunning garden and the abundance of fruit trees. We highly recommend staying at their lodge while exploring Bora Bora."
