"HOTEL IN POOR CONDITION WITH MISLEADING SPA POLICIES ROOM CONDITION The rooms are old and poorly maintained. The wooden floors are heavily scratched, skirting boards are swollen and coming away from the walls, and the mirrors show clear deterioration with black spots where the reflective coating is peeling (see photos). BEDDING The bed was made with only two sheets and no duvet, which is typical for summer, not winter. When I asked for a duvet, staff laughed and said they only had very old blankets. The blanket was very dusty and caused my husband nasal irritation. HEATING / TEMPERATURE The room heating was insufficient. Despite staff checking the system and saying it was working correctly, the room remained so cold that we could not remove our jackets. We were travelling with a 4-year-old child who was uncomfortable and unable to play due to the cold. A portable heater was provided and left on overnight and throughout the next day, but it was still not enough to warm the room. CLEANLINESS The room was not properly cleaned. There were spider webs and visible mould in the room and bathroom (see photos). The bathroom heater was also covered in rust. STAFF COMMUNICATION Staff were not rude, but not particularly welcoming. The receptionist did not speak English, which made it difficult to communicate issues. BREAKFAST SERVICE Breakfast was acceptable but limited in choice. The breakfast area was clearly understaffed, with staff visibly overwhelmed. I had to request gluten-free options three times before receiving them. SPA ACCESS & COSTS Spa access is very limited and poorly explained. Only one session is included, and only for adults. A child is charged €30 for a 2-hour session. Multiple visits require paying €30 each time, meaning three visits would cost €90. This was not clearly communicated at the time of booking. SPA WATER TEMPERATURE The spa pool water was below body temperature. It was colder than my gym’s pool (approximately 36°C). Guests were visibly shivering and staying near the areas where warm water enters the pool because the rest of the pool was too cold. Although our session was for two hours, I could only stay in the water for one hour due to the temperature. OVERALL EXPERIENCE While the staff were polite, the condition of the hotel, lack of comfort, and misleading spa policies do not justify the price. We would not return."

We were staying for one night and ended up staying three. Everything was excellent: the food, the room, and especially the service."

"Beautifully situated house with various rooms in a quiet area. Unfortunately we were the only guests and there was some confusion due to our late (2 hours in advance) booking. However, we were warmly welcomed by three lovely dogs and the father of the manager. Furthermore, everything looked very nice. Nice room and bathroom. Plenty of space to sit somewhere and cozy atmosphere. Delicious fresh breakfast."
