"We had the best night in the Tidal suite at the Palms Hotel. The room was huge and we had our own private deck/balcony. We had a beautiful view of the bay and the unit was updated and had more than enough space for my family of four. The staff was accommodating and we rented beach chairs and an umbrella. It was a convenient walk from the main hotel to the beach where there was a public bathroom. We will definitely be back!"

"Everyone life is relative…if I was paying a reasonable price for the stay I would be okay. But for the price, I cannot justify recommending this to anyone. Location is good but very loud as it is right amongst the action. The air conditioner rattled unbelievably and the shower sounded like it would explode when it was turned on. For the price I think there has got to be some upgrades made to the hotel. Very underwhelming"

"Horrible. The rooms were small and dirty. Beds very uncomfortable. Bedroom locks not secure, so not safe to leave any valuables. Bathrooms were disgusting. Dustbins completely rusted. Fungus. The hotel is promoted as a luxury stay but is far from that. More like a guesthouse/hostel. Extremely noisy in the night so don’t expect to have any sleep before 1 am. You can party along from your room though…"
