Trolltunga Camping

I stayed in a cabin and it was perfect. Everything I needed for a few days in the area hiking and exploring. The little creek running behind the cabin was lovely to fall asleep to. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Awesome also to have a swimming beach in the lake at the edge of the camp ground. Locations was excellent, Trolltunga bus stop right outside and only a 20min walk into the centre of Odda.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Nico and Shakti. They helped me out so much during a little energy crisis I got into. Also, the two guys who worked yesterday evening were really kind. The staff absolutely deserve a 5-Star rating. Their boss can be very happy to have such great employees! Although the campsite is located in a beautiful setting, the prices are totally insane. €145 for a tiny cabin with two and a half beds that doesn’t even have a chair or a bedside table, and located right in front of the main cooking and dining area of the whole campsite? And then charging extra for a 5-minute shower that was very dirty? That’s not acceptable. I really hope the amazing staff are paid accordingly!

The place is amazing, clean and tidy, the staff who work there are amazing, warm, loving and provide service from the heart, constantly smiling, helping and showing that they really care, with every question or request they open their hearts, helping and contributing to the experience of the place, a highly recommended place Thank you very much From The Taekwondo family Ki Taekwondo & Hapkido Drøbak

Camp site is in a lovely location. But it is very expensive and it is really disappointing that you have to pay extra for a shower. They never mentioned it at reception.

Booed a single room which was clean, dual aspect and had good wifi. Wasn’t expecting to make up the bed and pay for showers. Two shared bathrooms for up to 13 guests so be prepared to wait in the evenings.

This is a wonderful campsite set right next to the lake. Recently refurbished it’s a perfect stop in Odda and highly recommended. Anna made us feel very welcome and was lovely to talk to, giving us some excellent local tips. One note for anyway thinking about wild camping around Odda. Don’t even bother trying as no parking signs have been put in all the laybys as the locals have got fed up with the number of people staying in them overnight. Staying at this campsite really is the best and a lovely option.
