Naturarte Campo - Duna Parque Resorts & Hotels ★★★★
"What an amazing place! We arrived 2 hours early, but Frederico was so obliging and had our beautiful room ready in 15 mins for us. The complex is absolute heaven, with a beautiful pool, hammocks under orange trees where you can pick the oranges and eat them fresh and various birds singing in the private grounds. Our evening meal was a short walk (15mins) to the nearby village, where Frederico had kindly booked us a small restaraunt. Breakfast was incredible with fresh produce and lovely coffee. We travel a lot and this place blew us away. If I could give 6/5 I would. Thank you Frederico...Ruth & Rob"
HI Almograve – Pousada de Juventude ★★
Milfontes Guest House - Duna Parque Group ★★★
"About 2 km from the center. Huge room; bathroom with large hydromassage tub, shower, two sinks and bidet; large wardrobe and mini bar. Very comfortable bed. The shared kitchen is fabulous, complete with everything, from the oven to the washing machine, coffee machines with pods available, water dispenser, toaster, microwave. Small indoor swimming pool (out of season) with additional jacuzzi corner, open from 8am to 8pm. Exceptional quality/price ratio."
Quinta do Canal
Corkoon - Duna Parque Resorts & Hotels ★★★
"Well located, comfortable and clean."
So Mar ★★★
"Good service, sympathy, cleanliness and availability. Possibility to extend your stay. Always with a smile. D. Hercilia a Sweet person, the girl of the reception always available to clarify or help. The cleaning of the room and toilet always imperfect "
Enigma - Nature & Water Hotel ★★★★
"All right, a little old. clean and breakfast OK . reasonable"
Lazy Days - Adults Only - Duna Parque Resorts & Hotels ★★★
"It's unpleasant not to have daily room maintenance. Room cleaning costs €25 extra. Towel change (1 bath + 1 face towel) €3 per person. The management of the hotel unit seems more like a student residence. The space, rooms, common areas and pool... 5 stars"
River Inn - Duna Parque Resorts & Hotels ★★★★
"Close to the sea, comfortable bed, small terrace, air conditioning, and adequate bathroom. For Christmas, we were satisfied with the quality/price ratio."

Casa Da Seiceira
"One of our favorite stays during our trip to Portugal. The outdoor area is beautiful--pool, nice flowers, lots of hammocks/easy chairs. Rooms are very nicely decorated. Each room has a porch with chairs/table and clothes drying rack which is super convenient. Breakfast in the morning was amazing, cooked to order--fruit, eggs, cereal, beads and jam. There's hot water kettle and cups for tea/coffee in the room, and a coffee maker available all day in the common area. It's basically right on the fisherman's trail, some beautiful cliffs to walk very close by. Absolutely would stay again."
Guarda Rios
"When I think of B&Bs, I can't help but think of dusty houses with creepy dolls. (likely from a bad experience in Napa Valley years ago) This was NOT my experience at Guarda Rios. The B&B itself is bright and modern as well as very well located. Our room was probably the most immaculate space that I have ever stayed in a hotel. It was also quiet and peaceful. The staff was very helpful and friendly, particulary Maria who secured us a same day reservation at Tasca Do Celso, a fantastic restaurant. I highly reccommend that tourists exploring the Atlantic Coast visit Vila Nova de Milfontes on the Alentejo Coast and stay at Guarda Rios."
Naturarte Rio - Duna Parque Group
"If you are looking for a place away from the chaos to rest and recharge, this is the perfect place. We stayed in a villa with 1 bedroom, equipped with the basic stuff such as fridge and electric stove, and also with a lovely backyard. Everything was clean and in good condition. The (shared)pool overlooking the mountains and the river is amazing. There are also bicycles around. Keep in mind that there is nothing around it, no shops, no restaurants so I strongly recommend a car to move around if you plan to stay here (free parking available). Beach and the city center is 15min by car."
Quinta Das Varandas by Umbral
"The information about the procedures for the check in and what you need to give in advance its not cleared wen you book, only after the booking you recive an email, explaining everything. If i saw all the stupid procedure i didnt book this terrivle hotel. Shame on you"
Quinta do Moinho de Vento - Duna Parque Resorts & Hotels
"We recently cycled from Lisbon to the Algarve and the company we cycled with (Cycling Rentals - century cycles) put us up in this lovely hotel in this beautiful town. Our room was at the back looking over the gardens. It had a little terrace. The room was spacious and the bed very comfy. The only issue was it had no kettle and being English we’d brought our teabags along for our morning and afternoon cuppa! We were told that there were no kettles to lend us (every other hotel we had been on our trip happily provided us with one to the room or the rooms already had them in!) We we’re told that we could use the shared kettle that was in the main building upstairs on a landing. We dutifully did that and had to trek through the hotel with our hot cups of tea. We are partial to a camomile tea at bedtime but couldn’t even get in to use this ‘shared kettle’ because they lock all the doors at 9 (even the bar closes early too) so unless you had a room in that building you could not go in to use the kettle. Strange. Maybe they need to think about investing in a kettle for the rooms OR providing a kettle for each section that is accessible and not locked by 9 pm! Shame the bar closes, we’d have enjoyed an after dinner drink there - they are missing a trick! Nice little pool out front of the hotel and the staff who do the breakfast, the cleaning and all the laundry were just lovely. The guy on reception was helpful up to a point but just seemed a bit aloof! The town of VN de Milfontes is lovely and the hotel is well situated and you can walk everywhere. Make sure you go to the beach bar for sundowners and the most delicious grilled fish!"
HS Milfontes Beach Hotel | Duna Parque Resorts & Hotels
"The experience was good in the clean room with a 5* hot tub, but we had a somewhat unpleasant surprise with cockroaches next to it."
Moinho Da Asneira - Duna Parque Resorts & Hotels
"Check-in - - - good luck. The two addresses for checking in took us on a frustrating hour and a half journey. First to a closed up office in town. I was lucky to run into a nice local resident who helped me find the second address I was given. This took me to a beach restaurant. The manager there directed me to a hotel about a kilometre away where check-in was completed. When I told them about the address problems, they said it was because we booked through a third party - - - I said that they need to communicate with the third party better if they are allowing them to book their rooms. Whatever - - - just give me my key. With check-in complete, we drove to the accommodation. Poor directions from the hotel but we found our way to a pot-hole ridden gravel road down a steep embankment. We almost turned around as we were unsure if it was the correct road. Finally, the room. It was clean, but felt "old". Nothing updated except the windows - - - old kitchen, old bathroom, old bedrooms. Mediocre at best. This place could be "so much more" with its location."
Alentejo Charm House
"Fab little boutique type hotel in the centre of Vila Nova de Milfontes. Walking distance to everything. Spotlessly clean, lovely bed linen, great shower, very nice breakfast and lovely friendly staff. No bar or lounge area but the room had a generous balcony and coffee machine."
Duna Parque Beach Club | Duna Parque Resorts & Hotels
"Structure a bit dated but overall good.. slightly expensive.. good location"
Quinta do Chocalhinho Agroturismo & Spa
"This is the third time we've stayed at Chocalhinho; we feel at home here."
Herdade Do Freixial - Turismo Rural
"The farm is very pretty, the rooms are well-kept and very pleasant. The view from the room over the river was beautiful. The room was very spacious and clean, with a kettle and microwave, as well as tea and water (although you pay for it). The breakfast has a lot of variety and the products are of very good quality (although there could be some plant-based options in terms of milk and yogurt). The staff were very friendly. There were two things that we didn't like. One of them was the fact that the room was quite humid, as it is next to/under the pool and jacuzzi. There was a dehumidifier connected in the room when we arrived, but I felt it quite a lot in my airways. In my opinion, these are rooms that shouldn't be working outside of the summer. The other issue, which bothered us more, was the fact that we heard a constant noise (maybe from the air conditioning system or the pool) that during the night completely prevented us from hearing the silence of the Alentejo, which was actually what we could hear outside! This was one of the objectives of the stay and it didn't allow us to relax as we would have liked."
Monte Carvalhal da Rocha
"We went by motorhome, bad from the reception, the pool is paid separately by Yves per day, so you can't use it the morning of check out. And the sun loungers are scarce. The showers are flooded. The containers are overflowing with rubbish. The staff is very unpleasant. The supermarket is very limited. Very expensive for what they offer. A disaster."
