"This park is an absolute disgrace, the state of the facilities is putrid, from faeces sprayed up the wall that is still there 7 days later, to algae in the pool. The pool was that disgusting that guests were using the cleaning nets to scoop up the mammoth amount of filth in the pool. Our sites lost power more often than we had power, there was no grass but we were presented with 2-3ft weeds. The water was turned off for a day with minimal notification, not enough time to even fill our tanks. The roads if you would even call them that are more suitable for a 4wd. After multiple calls to the office we were faced with the comments of there is nothing wrong. For decades we have come to this park, but after this year I doubt we will be back. Top dollar for an absolute sh*t show. Were told today tarrifs will be increase, how is that even possible!"

"Great location close to town. It is a small music themed hotel in Old Bar which is about 15 minutes east of Taree. Each room is dedicated to a musician of any genre. eg we stayed in the Dave Grohl (lead singer of The Foo Fighters) themed room where the bathroom wall was tiled with his face. There was music memorabilia all over the room which was amazing and a record player so you could play records during your stay. The records were stored all along the hallways of the hotel and all you had to do was go out and pick one. Unfortunately, they are kept track of and you have to give them back! The vibe is coastal chill and the service and staff were amazing. My only concern was that the shower recess itself had no water barrier so the shower water ran all over the floor of the bathroom. It is a safety concern, especially since the clientele that we saw were older in age. Apart from that I highly recommend staying here!"

"Absolutely loved this place and would highly recommend. The cabins were spacious and comfortable. Kids loved having their own ensuites! Cabin backed on to a lawn in front of bush land that had kangaroos and monitor lizards daily and a resident peacock. So beautiful. The pools were great. One was always much quieter than the other so a lovely place to relax whilst the other one was a great place to play. Saying that you could do both at either. Great bar serving coffee, cocktails and delicious cocktails over the most healthy abundant pond that the kids loved spotting the turtle in. Went with another family had side by side cabins. Enjoyed new years there and could see fireworks in the distance but all the families took music, sparklers and fluros down to the beach and someone else lit extra fireworks. So fun. Saw dolphins often. Walked to Saltwater National Park which was so worth the distance. Dinner at the Hallidays Sports Club was yum and Pebbly Beach was divine."

"Just perfect. Lovely rooms and grounds, great hosts. Its great in the summer with a great garden to enjoy or in the winter wiht the log fire going. Highly recommend."
