Holiday Inn Express OLEAN by IHG

We stayed here a few years ago and I said at the time I would never stay again. We left another hotel in town to come stay here and we were very happy! The hotel apparently has been redone, the lobby looked great and our room was outstanding. It’s such a convenient location and we’re happy to say we will stay here whenever we visit family in town.

There was a chemical smell from remodeling, no pool due to remodeling. Was very loud, couldn't sleep. Did have a excellent breakfast bar. Shouldn't had to pay that price when its under construction.

The latching plate for the door lock in 5e room had been poorly modified. The front desk happily gave me another room. Same issue, the latch plate had been poorly modified. Had to wrestle with the door to get the deadbolt to engage.

The room was nice but the hotel was under construction and the pool was closed.

The staff was excellent. The hotel was clean but the bathroom tub and shower head connection to the wall was chipped and poorly caulked. The door to my room was misaligned so it rubbed on the floor which made a lot of noise and I had to lift up very hard on the door in order to turn the deadbolt. There was misinformation about the cost for using the Electric Vehicle chargers.

Awesome experience! Great Breakfast! Bed was comfortable, room was clean and great location. Will DEF stay again

. The walls are extremely thin I could hear EVERYTHING going on. The place needs some updating but it’s clean enough for a pop in.

Room was on the first floor when first walking in did appear to have a smell of smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room
