The elderly gentleman at the front desk was very kind; we arrived after 10 PM, and he still kindly booked tickets for Neuschwanstein Castle for the next day (no extra charge). The room size was okay, simple but not flimsy. The hotel has its own parking lot, which was very convenient, and the town is very safe, so there was no need to worry about luggage. The breakfast room had a view of Neuschwanstein Castle from the window, creating a fantastic atmosphere."

"Myself and 4 friends just spent the most wonderful and peaceful few days at the Landhotel Haflingerhof and we really wished we could have stayed longer. It is such a beautiful place in the most stunning location, the scenery is unbelievable. The rooms are clean and comfortable and nicely decorated with everything you need for a very relaxing stay. Breakfast and dinner was tasty and plentiful and the staff were friendly and helpful, especially in trying to speak english to us, as our German is very limited. We loved that they were dressed in traditional Bavarian style dress also. All the animals on the property were wonderful, especially the horses. And the carriage ride through the forest was an amazing experience. It is quite near to the famous Neuschwanstein Castle which is worth seeing and the nearby village of Roßhaupten and town of Füssen are delightful places to visit . We highly recommend this beautiful place and we hope to return again in the future. Vielen dank! 😊"

Top-quality, plentiful, and beautifully presented. Great, friendly service, a view of the lake... What more could you want? Definitely a recommendation, and it won't be our last visit here!"

On the ground floor there was a dining area with fully equipped kitchen. All in all - a lot of value for the price. Highly recommended!"

The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious The bakery included in the hotel offered a vast selection of different cakes and other baked goods, which all looked very appealing. We loved the little house-made chocolates we got as a farewell gift."

"My friends and I visited this hotel to have some food, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. When we first arrived, the staff welcomed us, so we expected a pleasant visit. We sat down and looked at the menus, but they were not in English. When we politely asked for English menus, the server simply handed us the same menus again. She then asked if we were planning to eat, and when we said yes, her attitude changed completely. She rudely told us, "You can't sit there; move over here", before throwing the menus onto the table and walking away. The lack of basic courtesy and poor customer service left us feeling unwelcome, so we decided to get up and leave without ordering. First impressions were positive, but the service that followed was unacceptable. We walked down the road to a lovely Thai restaurant called Mina Asia, where we were welcomed by a lovely woman; the food was delish and the service was exceptional."
