Boutique Hotel Intermezzo - Pag Centre

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful family‑run property for four nights during our first visit to Pag Island—and to the beautiful Hrvatska Republika—after some holiday research. Hotel owners responded promptly and clearly to our additional inquiry before arrival, which already set a positive tone. Our flight from Dublin, Ireland was slightly delayed, yet the owners were exceptionally accommodating when we arrived with a selection of tasty food and a superb local Chardonnay. The next morning, we were surprised with a Birthday cake at breakfast—an unforgettable, heartfelt gesture that truly felt like being welcomed into a family. Exploring the local beaches and taking a swimming boat trip with Marino became one of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever had. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and provided complimentary breakfast is thoughtfully prepared with diverse, locally sourced products such as cheese, yogurts, honey, and fresh bread. What stood out most during our four‑night stay was the exceptional hospitality—highly attentive, detail‑focused, and genuinely dedicated to guest satisfaction. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would gladly return for more delicious local food, excellent Chardonnay, swimming in beautiful beaches, and above all, the outstanding hospitality of this family‑owned boutique hotel.

We stayed 3 nights at the Boutique Hotel Intermezzo at the end of August. The Intermezzo is situated just a few minutes walk from the centre of Pag Town with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. There was free parking directly by the hotel. The hotel staff were super friendly with lots of tips for trip and restaurant suggestions. We had an amazing afternoon boat trip wth Captain Marino who took us out to 3 different sites for snorkelling and swimming - told about the history of the island and was kind enough to email us photos he had taken on the trip. We had a very modern, comfortable room with balcony and a lovely bathroom, the room was very quiet. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had in a hotel - there was everything you could wish for including some local specialities. All in all a really great stay and would highly recommend for a few days on Pag.

A tremendous place stay just on outskirts of town centre and 200 metres from the sea/ harbour. Lovely room with two balconies. Very helpful staff with great local knowledge; Jakop recommended three fantastic restaurants. But the best aspect was the superb breakfasts, just amazing with lovely home cooked cakes etc. Best we have experienced anywhere in Europe . Very good value for money.

This is a small local hotel but what makes it special is the staff. From arrival to departure, all of the team are engaged in ensuring guests have a lovely stay- from letting us check in early as the room was ready, to local restaurant recommendations, sightseeing tips and even proudly explaining all the local specialities to try at the breakfast buffet. Breakfast was delicious! Easy stroll to the main square. Oh and the entire place is spotlessly clean. One of the nicest hotel stays we have had.

Everything is GREAT, especially the breakfast. The rooms are really cute and clean. The bathroom is really well equipped and if you don’t have something that you want the front desk will bring you in matter of seconds. I really recommend that you stay here.

We absolutely love this boutique hotel! Everyone was so helpful and caring! The breakfast was above and beyond! The chef made us feel as if we were staying at The Ritz! Jacko’s was very helpful with his knowledge of the area- I didn’t catch the name of the other two women who worked there but they were beautiful souls as well- we have been in Europe for 7 weeks and this was by far our favoryplace to stay! We would go back tomorrow- the city of Pag is safe and warming too!

Warm hospitality of the friendly employees at the hotel. Delicious local food offered at breakfast, providing a taste of the region's culinary delights. The combination of authentic cuisine and welcoming staff made our experience truly unforgettable. Rooms were super clean and modern. Highly recommend !

What a Hotel should be, Wonderful! welcoming and superb! My son and I visited Pag, and “Hotel I” met all our expectations and exceeded them, welcoming and informative front desk, very accommodating. The room is clean and has all the amenities you would hope for, with a balcony too. Toiletries and fridge and A/C. There is free beach towels and umbrella also that they offer for you, The breakfast alone is worth staying here, local products, fresh and variety deserves 5 star, also it goes until 11 which is very thoughtful on a holiday stay. Thank you for sharing this Gem of a Hotel with the world. Also a special shout out to Maja who is always smiling and so very hospitable.
