A'La Vista Motel

"My partner and I stayed at A'La Vista Motel for the first time recently. The location is definitely a plus – it's really handy and we enjoyed being able to walk into the central square easily. We found the room to be reasonably clean, though perhaps not the most sparkling we've ever seen. The motel is quite dated and, in our opinion, felt a bit overpriced for what it offered. I do understand that accommodation prices everywhere in New Zealand have gone up, so that's likely the reason. It has all the basic facilities mentioned in its promotions and the overall look isn't terrible by any means, it's just a bit tired. It served its purpose for a night, but we'll probably look for a different option next time we're in town."
