Since it was just for a 2D1N stay, my partner & I chose this budget hotel due to its location & value. It was close to the airport & past reviews were positive. When we arrived, there was ample parking space. However, there was no concierge & we had to carry our bags into the Hotel. An elderly man attended to us at the reception. As we arrived early at 12 pm, he explained that our room was not ready. Check-in time was at 2 pm. Since our room was not ready, he asked whether we could take the room on the 1st floor. We had no issue & accepted graciously. There was no lift to the 1st floor. Thus, we had to carry our luggage ourselves to our room. Our room was a decent size although it felt a little claustrophobic as there was no space beside our double bed on both ends. The mattress was soft which was not good for my back & the pillows were equally soft too. The TV was mounted to the wall, facing the bed. I believe we had satellite TV but we did not get to enjoy it as we were out most of the day & came home late. The closet follows the open Scandinavian concept where hangers are hung out in the open for all to see. Two bottled water were given inclusive of tea & coffee making facilities. The air-conditioner came in handy as it cooled the room fast. Our room was also equipped with complimentary WiFi. The bathroom was clean & came with the basic water heater which took time to heat up. There was also a hand bidet which we greatly appreciated. We went out after checking in & came back late in the evening. Since it was such a hot day, we finished the bottled water. My partner went to the lobby with the intention of buying a couple of bottled water to quench our thirst. However, I was told that the staff had given 2 additional water bottles free of charge. Although check-out is at 12 pm, we checked-out the next day early in the morning & were given 2 more additional water bottles on the house. I would definitely come back to Tanjong Inn. A mentioned earlier, apart from its location & value, their generosity exceeds any 5-Star Hotel!

Stayed for a night. Fully utilized the room service. Foods were delicious. Breakfast buffet was wonderful with multiple choice of foods. Their worker are friendly & always on their service. Thank you :)

Hotel location in the center of the Kota Bharu city & opposite at KB Mall. It's easy to find food in the surrounding area.. Room cleanliness is ok but no kettle is provided to make hot drinks only 2 bottles of mineral water provided by the hotel. The staff is ok & friendly.Parking not provided by hotel but can park at public parking lot surrounding area is available but not free.

good place to stay.. clean room and well manage. the location is at heart of kota bharu and easy to find a good restaurant and just few minute walk to go for shopping and good places good breakfast and also good service.. definitely will repeat again

The room is very comfortable, spacious and clean. Service very good. The staff at the reception desk were really friendly and kind. Breakfast was delicious and variety of menus. Great location, great hotel and good value for money. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Easy to find the hotel, but waiting for the traffic to give you way to enter the hotel gonna be tough during peak hour. Enough parking inside or outside. Security is enough, you can only go up if you have the key. The check in time start from 2 pm, super rarity. Comfortable room, enough space to put luggage, pray. What I love is the toilet is separated from shower. Enough amenities. The breakfast spread is nice, got Kelantan delicacies like laksam, nasi kerabu. They put catchy phrases under each menu. I think if they serve the tarik, it would be even better. The tv is nice too, got movie list besides the normal channel. Whenever you call the guest service, it took them within 30 mins to serve you, in my case we requested new towels and sejadah and foot mat. Maybe the hotel can consider to provide umbrella since it rains non stop. Location wise, it's not super central, but still central kb, it only took you less than 15 mins to reach pasar siti khadijah. The sales director en fitri zinuddin makes us feels welcome.

Really appreciate if can provide small freezer. Room just nice! Clean! Staff really helpful. Breakfast, not variety but all superb delicious! Will come and stay there again!!

What I like most about this hotel is it's location. Right smack in the city centre. Spacious room with complete in-room amenities including a mini fridge and a microwave oven. Not many channels on the telly, only those free to air ones. The famous Muhammadi Mosque is just across the road and Tambatan DiRaja is just a short walk away. Parking is quite limited. Nasi Ulam Cikgu Fauzi is just behind the building if you are into it.
