The room felt poorly maintained, with worn walls and a general feeling of lack of care and cleanliness in some areas. Unfortunately, the service at reception was also disappointing. At check-in I was simply handed the room key with almost no explanation about the hotel facilities, breakfast hours, gym access, or basic information that is usually provided in hotels of this category. Throughout my stay, I often felt that the staff was not particularly attentive or prepared to assist guests. For example, I asked about international phone calls because there was a sign saying the service was available, but neither of the receptionists seemed to know anything about it or how it worked. After waiting for a while without getting any real help, I eventually gave up. The Wi-Fi was another major issue. It barely worked in the room and was unreliable even in the common areas, which became quite frustrating during the stay. At night, music from nearby clubs could still be heard in the background. It was not necessarily the music itself that was the biggest problem, but rather the poor sound insulation of the rooms. The walls seem extremely thin, to the point where I could clearly hear people talking in the room next to mine, even during normal conversations. In my opinion, this hotel has its reputation mostly because of the pool and beachfront setting, since not many hotels in Paracas offer that kind of atmosphere. While those aspects are genuinely beautiful, the overall experience did not reflect the level of comfort, service, and quality I would expect from a 4-star hotel at this price point."
