"Had such a wonderful stay at The View Lugano! Just like it's name, this lux hotel includes fantastic views of Lake Lugano and the town below. Rooms are uniquely designed and spacious. Size of hotel, location and very attentive staff made for a relaxing stay. Highlights include the amazing breakfast buffet and gorgeous pool area. We did not make use of the complimentary electric car but thought that was a terrific bonus considering the property is elevated (like a lot of the area). We definitely plan on returning to the area and look forward to visiting again."

"The rooms, like other Ibis hotels, were quite small. The front desk was cramped, but the staff were fairly friendly. The location was okay, a short walk to the lake. It was close to the pier, but a bit far if you're going to explore the old town. The room rate was a bit expensive, and parking was also quite pricey."
