GGuest UserThe apartment booked here is very cost-effective. There is a large bed and a bunk bed. There were only two of us traveling, but it could accommodate 4 people. And the area is much larger than the hotel. The location is near Courtyard by Marriott, and after comparison, we decided to choose a larger apartment. After we arrived to check in, we called the butler and he added us on WeChat to guide us in. The housekeeper responded promptly and enthusiastically. The location is also great, just two blocks away you can cross the bridge to the central area.

SSJ574Such a delightful place that fully served the purpose of my solo trip to Bosnia. I chose to stay in Sarajevo while I go to visit sites outside of Sarajevo. And I am just showing this view from outside my window (my room has three windows, thank you Demir 😍) to show it is right at the tip of the old town. I often spent a number of times just looking out of the window and watch the world pass by. It was a meaningful feeling. An extra special thanks to Demir for making my stay enjoyable and memorable. Even when I began messaging him before coming (a few months before ☺️) he was very understanding. The self check-in feature was super simple too, and as I arrived much later in the evening after check-in hours, he was on whatsapp assisting me all the way until I reached my room. Hvala, Demir for your tireless efforts and warmness which was one of the highlights of my stay in Sarajevo.

AAToiStayed here for one night before an early morning flight and had a really lovely stay. I honestly didn’t realize until I arrived that Hotel Baškuća had been featured in TIME’s World’s Greatest Places 2025 and National Geographic Traveller’s European Cities Collection 2025; such a nice surprise and very well deserved.
The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk to Baščaršija (the old bazaar), which made it very convenient for exploring Sarajevo even with a short stay. The room was very cozy, clean, and comfortable, and the amenities were all thoughtfully prepared. Everything felt well-kept and welcoming.
I had to leave very early for my flight, so unfortunately I didn’t get to try the breakfast, but I heard from others that it’s excellent.
Overall, a very pleasant stay and I’d happily recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sarajevo especially if you want somewhere comfortable, charming, and well located.

TtgvlnThe hotel was fantastic; we loved it. The receptionist was very helpful with everything. At the end of our stay, we asked for a taxi, and they helped us with that too. We stayed on the 14th floor, which offers amazing views of the city (not exactly picturesque, but the mountains are amazing 😍). The breakfasts were delicious, with plenty of choice: there were always vegetables, eggs (the omelet was burnt once and tasted awful), pastries, and fresh fruit.
The only thing we didn't like was that upon check-in, reception told us breakfast started at 6:00 AM. We had to leave early for an excursion, so we arrived for breakfast just as it opened (6:15 AM). Several dishes were already served, but the coffee machines were turned off (meaning there was no hot water for tea either). A woman came around setting the table, and I asked her if I could at least pour some tea. She completely ignored me, made a disgruntled face, and left. As a result, we were left without breakfast.

GGuest UserIncredible hotel with very kind and welcoming staff. Nice and large rooms with an incredible view of the forest, a very unique experience. Would like to extend a thanks to Sanin for making the best hot chocolate I've ever had, and Mladen for serving us in the three times (!!!) we used the downstairs restaurant which had probably the best pizza I've ever had. I never use the restaurant in the hotel but this was seriously exceptional and had plenty of options. I ended up ordering Pizza Trebevic twice on two separate days. The breakfast options were good too.
Special thanks also to Mellisa at the front desk who let us check out late because our flight was late in the evening and greeted us with nothing but kindness, and booked us taxis as we needed.
The only problem you might have with the hotel is that the location is high up in the mountains. Cab drivers probably won't be very pleased to take you up easily and you will feel guilty that they drove so far for you. The hotel is basically in the middle of nowhere but the hikes around the area make it worth it. On the map it looks like it is not far from the main town but it is really far compared to other options. Go to this hotel if you intend to hike often but just bear in mind that you are high up in the mountains, far away from the old town center

GGuest UserI arrived around 1300 but there is no one on the ground floor as the hostel located in the 2nd floor. I waited and called the hostel via trip.com. Then the owner appeared and opened the door for me. I paid 5euro for deposit of the key. Once return the key, he will give you the money back.
In overall, they have normal hostel needs, kitchen, toilet, hair dryer, bathroom. One bathroom for 3 rooms which is a bit less. But we got time to use this. The bed is good. I like the bund bed is high. If a man sit on the lower bed, he could straighten his back. The room I assigned is quite windy at daytime I really like it. FYI, it looks like no AC on the room. But I dont need AC during the tim

Персонал очень доброжелательный, помогали вызвать такси, с рекомендациями по кафе с нац. кухней , без проблем дали второе одеяло . У нас был очень ранний выезд, ещё до завтра , и нам дали ланч-боксы с завтраком с собой).
Впечатления от проживания положительные.

NNia NadieraThe hotel is near the bus station and railway which is exactly what i am looking for (20 minute walk)! The walk to the city center is about 40 minutes. The location is quiet and nice. Check in staff very friendly and helpful.
The hotel was clean and tidy. The room was smaller than i thought but its fine because I was solo travelling. Have all the amenities that I need. They have a few shops and supermarket nearby so quick eats/buy were very convenient. The breakfast served was delicious! I enjoyed the breakfast a lot.
