Columbia-Shuswap Hotels with Parking

We had a wonderful stay overall and really enjoyed our time here. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The self check-in process was smooth, and the staff were very responsive and helpful whenever we needed assistance. We truly appreciated the great hospitality. The only two things that could be improved are the hairdryer and the shower water pressure. The hairdryer was quite underpowered. I have long hair, and it normally takes me about 10 minutes to dry it, but with the hotel hairdryer it took around 30 minutes. The shower water pressure was also quite low, which made showering less comfortable. Other than these two minor issues, everything else was excellent. We would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Absolutely stunning view. Cabin was older but very charming, we made the most of the fireplace in the room and enjoyed a view of the lake from our balcony. Bathroom was clean with everything we needed. Coffee also provided in the room which was nice. I read the beds were uncomfortable on other reviews and I’d partially agree - not the best but again not the main reason or expectation for visiting emerald lake. I will say the pillows were extremely thin and uncomfortable.  Staff were very friendly and attentive. Shuttle service was easy. Restaurant was pricey but overall good. No wifi or signal in the room is something to be aware of, but heightened the experience in my opinion. Overall, great!

Our 2 bedroom suite has 3 stories. The entrance was on the 2nd floor, there were no elevators. On the second floor there were 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and laundry. Go up a flight of stairs there’s the living room, kitchen and dining area, and a powder room. The house was generally clean and tidy. But when we were about to go to sleep we saw a few strands of hair under the pillows and it was quite disturbing. We knew it was not our hair because we saw it just as we were going to bed and picked up the pillows to fluff them; no one had used the bed yet. We then opened the blanket to check and there was one strand of hair under the covers too. Management apologized for it and was sincere but that did not help with our experience. It was the hair under the pillows that made us feel that bedsheets were likely not changed. A few other things: Headrail of blind was loose and fell down when we opened the blind. In the kitchen cooking oil/condiments seemed to be provided, but was empty. Overall I would probably have rated this stay 4.5 stars if it wasn’t for the hair on the bedsheets. That made us all feel very uneasy

I had a fantastic stay at Fairfield Hotel! The highlight for me was the breathtaking mountain view from my room—absolutely stunning. The staff was incredibly friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The room itself was comfortable and clean, with all the amenities you could ask for. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the breakfast spread was a great way to start the day. Definitely a place I’d return to, especially for that amazing mountain view!

The front desk staff were very welcoming and proactively offered recommendations for nearby attractions. While the breakfast selection wasn't huge, it was perfectly satisfactory. Out of the five different hotels we stayed at during our Banff trip, this was the only one that provided breakfast. There's a convenience store and fast-food options nearby, and it's also very close to the highway.

The hotel staff are very helpful. I always leave bags when I’m away skiing for the week. Checked in quickly. Rooms are big, immaculately clean, quiet and have v comfy beds. They are also nicely decorated. Got coffee machine, fridge, microwave & good wifi. Breakfast is pretty good. Got some fresh fruit, decent scrambled eggs, yoghurt and porridge if wanting more healthy options. It has a pool which is nice. Hall decor is now a bit dated and could do with being re-decorated.

What a wonderful unique experience. The setting around the lake was beautiful. We appreciated that all rooms face the lake. We enjoyed the amenities, the restaurant and Games area. We would recommend that everyone take the time to tour Ghost Town....sharing the history of the area. It was incredible....loved the train museum! Had a great stay!

The hotel is quite dated and needs some tlc to bring it up to the standard we were expecting. Unfortunately every door needs re painting and the fact that this is left for guests to see demonstrates some lack of care. The two bedroomed family suite was supposed to have Air Conditioning, but in one bedroom this was completely broken and in the other the unit was merely a fan (NOT air conditioning as described) which you couldn’t switch off, so was noisy all night. Breakfast was very basic and the tiny room where this was served completely inadequate for the number of guests in the hotel - who had to queue to get in. We resorted to eating in our rooms as there was no space to sit down there. The pool was quite nice but small.

It was in line with expectations and the location was easy to find. The breakfast was nutritious enough, but the variety certainly couldn't be compared with that of a five-star hotel. Home-cooked food would be more comfortable. My friend is also coming to visit, so I will recommend it to my friends.

Although this is a hotel under the Travelodge brand, it turns out to be more like a basic motel. The actual condition is quite different from the photos shown. First of all, the room facilities are outdated. The lighting is inconsistent, with both warm and cool tones due to mismatched light bulbs. The window-type air conditioner produces a lot of noise. The TV couldn’t receive any signal, and the cleanliness was below expectations. Only about a quarter of the showerhead was functioning properly, and the fridge did not have a freezer compartment. The breakfast is just better than nothing. The only positive aspect was the friendly attitude of the front desk staff. Overall, considering the price, it was not worth the value.
