GGuest UserOn the first day of the ***** New Year, I was traveling alone. This guesthouse made me feel at home in this remote border town. As soon as I arrived, the hospitable owner invited us to have New Year's Eve dinner, which was essentially his own family feast. The owner is of Miao ethnicity and prepared Hunan-style cured pork, braised pork belly, steamed pork with rice flour, and stir-fried squid with shredded pork, among other dishes. Mixing it with rice was absolutely divine; the owner's cooking skills are truly amazing. The guesthouse is the only Qing Dynasty courtyard house in the ancient town, the place where the owner's family has lived for generations. The mattresses were mousse-like and very comfortable, and the environment was lovely. After dinner, we sat in the owner's tea room, drinking Miao-style tea and warming ourselves by the fire, listening to the owner's words... He told stories about the house and his childhood, and all the tourists would sit around the fireplace in the courtyard chatting and laughing after meals. Although everyone was short on time, I felt everyone's genuine hospitality. When I have a long vacation, I will definitely stay longer. To be honest, the guesthouse is much more fun than the scenic area. (During my two days there, probably because of the Chinese New Year, the owner had prepared a lot of oranges, cherries, and other fruits, allowing this seasoned foodie to not only enjoy Hunan home-cooked meals but also achieve fruit freedom—I gained 4 pounds in 2 days!) The guesthouse is also conveniently located in the very center of the scenic area. Below are some photos I took for your reference.

GGuest UserMy stay at Yunshang Shanshui Homestay in Biancheng Chadong was fantastic! The location is absolutely unbeatable, right at the entrance of the Chadong Scenic Area, making it incredibly convenient for vehicles to enter and exit. There's even free parking available, which is super friendly for tourists driving. Just a few steps to the left are the visitor center, the three-province boundary marker, and the boat dock. A bridge across the river is also nearby, making it easy to get to Chongqing and Guizhou for meals. Turning right leads directly to the Chadong Scenic Area, making sightseeing very convenient. The rooms are newly renovated, with a hotel-like style and an elevator. The host is very friendly and helpful, answering all our questions and providing a lot of useful advice and information. The price is also reasonable, offering great value for money. If you're traveling to Biancheng Chadong, I highly recommend this homestay!

GGuest UserAlthough it is a small inn, it is very clean and hygienic, and the service is warm and hospitable. Contact the boss in advance before arriving at the store. The boss guides us to the location parking lot and personally picks us up to the inn. The location of the inn is very good, the balcony is facing the sign building of the Cuicui Island border city, very suitable for sitting on the balcony and drinking tea in a daze. There is a place to eat downstairs and shopping is very convenient. Next to the inn is the Shen Congwen residence, you can visit. Cost-effective, recommended to stay!

Restaurants, breakfast shops, and late-night snack stalls are all nearby, and it's 50 meters from the bus station, making transportation convenient. The room was clean and tidy, with relatively complete facilities, including an elevator, washing machine, and kitchen, and meticulous attention to detail. The owner was friendly and helpful, offering thoughtful services like late check-out, making the overall experience very comfortable.

KkimiI stayed here for two days. I heard from the waiter that the best room is room 13, facing the mountain without any obstruction? We stayed in room 9, which was blocked by some trees, but the balcony was quite large and the view was still great. The breakfast was great. The rice noodles and rice wine were very local and authentic. Adding some local chili sauce was really delicious. The other steamed vegetables, buns, and siu mai were all frozen, which was understandable. You can take good photos at the viewing platform at dusk. Coffee and booths are also available on the first floor. It is quite pleasant to have a cup of coffee and look at the valley. If you live here on a rainy day, you will be very lucky. You can see the sea of clouds and the landscape paintings are generally beautiful. If you don't have high requirements, go to Xiaole Restaurant in 18dong Village for dinner. The Miao sour meat is very delicious. I still miss it after I came back. Don't forget to visit the nearby Deru Village. The stream is gurgling, the mountains are full of trees, and it is a real original ecology. Unfortunately, it will be flooded soon, and a hydropower station is being built downstream.
