There is also a service to watch the sunrise. You can watch the sunrise from the hotel to the other side of the mountain in 10 minutes by car. If I don't bring the baby, the baby is too small to get up in the morning, I will follow the sunrise! It is rare to live in the city for a long time, and it is rare to see the original ecological mountain view. , In terms of address location, it is very quiet when sleeping at night. It is very close to the main street and the main gate building of Tang'an Dongzhai. It takes a short walk to the flat road and then a short step to get there. The homestay is not facing the street, but take two steps to go out to the main street. There is a place to eat and drink coffee nearby. , Overall this stay experience is great! I shared with my friends and said that I want to come to National Day haha, it's a good place.

This was my favorite guesthouse on my trip to Zhaoxing. It's a guesthouse with excellent design, decor, and service. If you're planning to stay in Zhaoxing for a few nights, make sure not to try any other guesthouses after staying at Wanjia Yutong, or you'll be sorely disappointed. The comfortable business car pick-up from the high-speed rail station was a great start, and they arranged to have my luggage sent directly to my room. Upon arrival, I was given a detailed, hand-drawn map. They were like Doraemon, able to tell me everything I wanted to know about good food and fun things to do in the village. The overall decor was very stylish, and the room was impeccably clean. Both the appliances and bedding were top-brand quality. The guesthouse's location was just right, balancing convenience with a peaceful environment. You can enjoy the tranquil bridges and flowing water, and also easily step out whenever you like. I will definitely book here again next time I visit!

Traveling to Zhaoxing Dong Village during the off-season, I stumbled upon Zhaoxing No. 1 Boutique Homestay, and it was truly a delightful surprise! The overall quality and attentive service are absolutely on par with five-star standards – an amazing experience. Especially their breakfast rice noodles, they were so authentic and flavorful, I was hooked after one bite, absolutely delicious. My stay was comfortable and peaceful, I genuinely and highly recommend it. Next time I visit the Dong Village, this will definitely be my first choice again!

Me and my girlfriend got picked up at Congjiang train station which was very convenient. Right from the start the owners of the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The accomodation is located at the back of the village next to a field where they grow rapeseed flowers and rice during the year. For us the location was perfect as it is very peaceful and quiet but simultaneously litterally a few steps away from the beautiful vibrant little village. The room was very spacious and clean with a gorgeous view on the field. The interior is very well matched and has great facilities. There was even a small laundry machine so we could do some laundry ourselves. So far during our travels in China, this stay was the best we had! There is a very stylish and cute coffee/restaurant located on the first floor of the building. This is also where you will have a delicious breakfast and where Ni Li and her sister will greet you with a smile every time you walk by. Ni Li, her husband Tao Mingqing, her sister and brother played a crucial part during our stay as after the first night my wife got very sick due to an infection and barely left the room during our stay. The second night I got foodpoisoning which made the situation even worse. (Not from the hotel!). We ended up extending our stay due to her condition. Luckily Li's English is very good so that helped us a lot in navigating the medical difficulties. We were extremely lucky to be staying with Li and her family as they took care of us like we were their own family. Preparing custom meals and dinner tailored to our needs every single day, preparing us tea, calling the local doctors and translating and taking us to the local hospital back and forth multiple times. We were there during the Qingming festival so no cars were allowed in the village which made it more difficult to reach the hospital. This didn't stop Tao Mingqing as he took us to the local hospital several times on the motorbike, one by one! The last time I even forgot a bag and he even went back to get it for me! He truly is a legend. Fortunately, my recovery was fairly quickly so I had the chance to explore the village a little by myself and spend time with Li and Ming while staying close to the room for my girlfriend. On day 4 my girlfriend's fever was coming down and she improved a little. Li and Ming invited us to have tea with them. Ming showed me his vast collection of tea and made sure to prepare the best tea suitable for our condition. The tea was truly amazing and he ended up filling a big bag with different kinds of teas as a gift for us! And that was not it, to make sure we would never forget them and drink tea mindfully the Chinese way when we're back home, they gave us the tea cups we used traditionally decorated with the blue dragon and phoenix. It was a very stressful situation and when we felt at our most fragile, they were there to take care of us, strangers they just met. This says everything about these wonderful people. Even though the illness of my girlfriend and the rough situation, we think back to our stay with a very warm hearth as our special experience forged a bond we'll never forget. We are incredibly lucky to have met Li and her family. We have said thank you to them 100s of times already, but I can't express enough how grateful I am for this people. Thank you for taking care of us like your family!!! ＜3 If you are unsure about staying here, there is truly no reason why you shouldn't! Whatever the situation, Li and her family will do everything they can to improve your stay. I'm sure you'll have a blast!

The room was fantastic for the price!! The auntie was very welcoming and even asked if I wanted some zongzi (sticky rice dumplings). It was very convenient, located right inside the Dong village, with a small tavern and barbecue stalls downstairs, etc.

The location of the hotel is simply great. In the ancient town, very near to the Dong culture exhibition Centre. Very convenient to take the free shuttle that goes up and down the ancient street to visit the 5 drum towers.It was also just a 15 minute walk to the shuttle bus station where we took the shuttle bus to Congjiang train station. The staff were also friendly and helpful.

I arrived close to midnight, around 12 AM, and the owner drove to pick up my luggage. For some reason, there were villagers sitting by the bridge along the way, I'm not sure what they were doing. The guesthouse location is very convenient, right next to the Drum Tower. Being a wooden building, it was quite noisy, and since I arrived in the middle of the night, I had to be extra careful with every move. But oddly enough, I slept exceptionally well that night. It wasn't because I was tired, but fortunately, the bed was very comfortable. I expected the bedding to be damp in the village, but it wasn't at all; it was very dry and fresh. The surroundings were quite quiet, but unfortunately, I was woken up at 7 AM by the broadcast from the Drum Tower next door. The village is very authentic.

We booked a twin room on the third floor. The beds and bedding were quite comfortable and clean. We didn't encounter any bugs or mosquitoes, unlike what some other reviews mentioned. The ceiling on the third floor might feel a little low, making it a bit less airy than the second-floor rooms our friends stayed in, but it also has a unique charm. However, near the window, probably due to the natural surroundings, there were some cobwebs that I had to clear when closing the window. Since it's a wooden building, the soundproofing wasn't great, and it could get a bit noisy from next door at times. We reported it, and the owner immediately spoke to us about it. Overall, it was still a pretty good stay.

This stay exceeded my expectations, highly recommended! The room was clean and tidy, with excellent lighting and soundproofing. The bedding was soft and comfortable, making for a superb living experience. The overall environment was rich in ethnic charm, balancing comfort with cultural features. The service was attentive and it offered great value for money. You can't go wrong choosing this place when traveling to the area; I'll definitely choose it again next time. The front desk lady was gentle and thoughtful; she made check-in efficient and smooth, and even proactively recommended local attractions and patiently answered our travel questions. The attention to detail was really heartwarming. The most delightful surprise at the hotel was the intangible cultural heritage batik handcraft experience. A professional teacher provided hands-on instruction, guiding us from sketching patterns and indigo dyeing to drying the finished product. It was an immersive experience into the charm of traditional craftsmanship, and we could take home our unique handmade creations as a memorable souvenir.

A few days before my arrival, I requested contact by wechat through Trip.com which was more convenient and the inn responded quite quickly which was reassuring and I arranged pick-up from the train station. They came back with a printed image of my name on paper and asked to look out for it upon my arrival. Pick-up was pretty smooth and got to the scenic site 15 minutes later. The driver led me to the scenic area's main entrance to buy a ticket to enter. I had to physically walk in through the public entrance for my ticket to be scanned and the driver drove in separately and we met inside the village. I hopped in the car and we drove up to where the ancient village was in a valley. A young man waited by the entrance of the village, took my luggage and I followed him down the path of cobble stones into the village. The inn was very close to the village entrance through a narrow alleyway and then up some stone steps. The inn was opened in 2021, so everything looked new and well kept. I checked in and was shown to my room immediately well ahead of the check-in time of 14:00 which I was so grateful for. The room and bathroom were adequate. Breakfast could be improved. However, the inn provides afternoon tea between 14:00 and 16:00 which is eaten on the terrace on the top floor with magnificent views of the village below. The staff at the inn are so lovely and helpful. They even recommended places to eat and also a local guide. I tried both and wasn't disappointed. The inn also arranged drop-off at the station. Both pick-up and drop-off at the station were free of charge which was an added bonus. I stayed here for one night and was quite happy. It was a perfect start to my high-speed rail odyssey across the southern part of China. I highly recommend this inn due to the location of it inside the ancient village, the views from the terrace and the very helpful staff.
