Mianyang Hotels with Parking

Had a challenge trying to decide which hotel to stay in Mianyang, understanding that it is a smaller city (compared to the first-tier ones) in China and lacking in international brands. Didn't help that the first local hotel we booked in Chengdu just prior to travelling to Mianyang was a boutique hotel that... could have been better. Eventually gave a miss to the listicle on Trip for the top 4-star hotels, but went for Vienna which was in the vicinity but with a high rating (not a 4-star hotel), mostly because it didn't have the noise complaints as compared to the other hotels nearer to the train station (there's ongoing public infrastructure works ongoing in that vicinity as well). We got lucky. Because Vienna is pretty great. The hotel still feels fairly new and we got the nice spacious rooms overlooking the river. And right at the doorstep was the Wanda Plaza. which meant food, shopping and play was a stone's throw away. There isn't much facilities on offer (it's positioned as a business hotel), but we knew what we signed up for, so all was good there. Breakfast was between 7am to 10.30am and its decent enough (just make sure to go in before 10am as they won't top up the trays after). In sum, Vienna is now a local brand that I'll think of for our next forays into different cities in China.

I went to Shanyuluo B&B in Jiangyou with my friends on the weekend. The overall feeling is: comfortable and relaxing, like finding a nest in the mountains. The decoration of the homestay is the kind of log wind, very warm. The outdoor landscape pool is the finishing touch. At night, the lights are a dozen, the water is reflected in the house, and the photos are beyond the film. We said the night before that we had to get up early to watch the sunrise, and the boss also specially prepared hot water and snacks for us, which was so sweet. 🥰🥰 And the most memorable thing about this trip is to watch the sunrise! At four o'clock in the morning, the boss drove us to the nearby observation deck. The mountain road here is a bit dark, but it is very safe to follow the boss. After waiting for about half an hour, the sky slowly brightened up. If I have a chance next time, I want to lie down for a few more days and watch the sunrise again.

Exceptional service always shines through! I was heading to Tangjiahe to see wildlife, and Mianyang was the most convenient transfer point. I wanted a hotel near the station. I hadn't heard of Baden Hotel before, but seeing its 4.8 rating on Ctrip and the affordable price, I figured it wouldn't be too bad – so I booked it! From the station, it's about an 8-minute walk if you turn left and keep going. The Shenzhou Car Rental pickup point was also conveniently located along the way! Check-in was very efficient, and my pre-requested non-smoking and quiet room preferences were both met. The room even had a pillow menu and silent earplugs, which was a very thoughtful touch. The carpet in the guest corridor was new and clean; I asked and found out it had only been replaced a few months ago. Before dinner, the front desk recommended Yang Feichang Chinese Restaurant nearby. On my way out, I met a concierge staff member, who was dressed impeccably and behaved courteously, and helpfully gave me directions. Breakfast was abundant, and the bakery items were particularly outstanding – expertly made. They even had a few types of sourdough bread and I spotted honeycomb honey, which you usually only occasionally see at five-star hotels. Even more surprising, after I ordered rice noodles at the live cooking station, a restaurant employee proactively offered to bring it to my table. Their attitude was warm and friendly. This level of service far surpasses many five-star hotels in bigger cities! When checking out, I accidentally left a bag of fruit in the room. Just two minutes after leaving the hotel, I received a call from housekeeping, saying they would bring it down to me immediately. Warm, professional, efficient, and excellent value for money. The 4.8 rating is well-deserved! Highly recommended!

This stay experience is really great! I must give Miss Tiantian at the front desk a big compliment. The service is super intimate. Not only did I take the initiative to check in for me, but also reminded me to get a parking ticket and free mineral water when I checked out. This detail-oriented service really makes people feel very warm. Because it is a brand new hotel, the room facilities are very new, the cleaning is spotless, and the living is particularly safe. The room facilities are also very complete, there are some, the details are quite good. In addition, there is a gym and self-service laundry room on the 5th floor of the hotel, which is too friendly for friends who are on business trips or long stays. The location is also very good, there are shopping malls, pedestrian streets, parks, and it is very convenient to eat, drink, and walk. In short, whether it is hardware facilities or software services, it is impeccable, the price is super high, and I will choose here next time! Highly recommend it to everyone! 🌟

The rooms are spacious and clean and tidy, and the service staff are warm and thoughtful. The location of the hotel is also very good, it is very convenient to go to the nearby night market and the snack street. I will visit Mianyang next time.

This looks like is a new hotel or under renovation, quite good. Location is near the train station, and right off multiple food streets/ night market. Easy to call cars and taxis. Staff was very helpful and nice. Breakfast included. Simple but good. However, can always grab some snacks at reception. The room was fine with various amenities, including shampoos and drinking water. Room was clean and bed super comfotable. There is a kettle but takes forever to boil, no coffee or tea, and cups aren't washed daily. Our toothbrushes were thrown away daily on 4 day vacation, which felt a bit like a waste. One thing that was odd was a rooster 🐓 that was making noise from 4.30am every day, in the building across.

The room is not big, it may be because of the top floor, the air conditioning effect is not very good, the pick-up service is very good, the hot pot restaurant introduced at the front desk is quite delicious 😋

The hotel is located near Mianyang Railway Station, less than 500 meters away, which is very convenient. There are several snack shops nearby, making dining easy. The west wing has been renovated and an elevator was added later, so it's half a floor below the rooms. The cleanliness is good. However, I suggest not using vinegar to wipe the furniture; the smell is a bit strong, and there's no evidence that vinegar has a disinfecting effect. The toothbrush was a bit disappointing; the bristles fell out after one use. The service was excellent, and they responded quickly to any questions. The price is reasonable. Overall, a positive review!

It is very pleasant whether it is a walk or a view of the scenery. The air is very fresh and there is no noise in the city at all. I feel very relaxed when I live in. What is more heartwarming is the enthusiasm of the boss, from check-in to departure, the whole process is particularly thoughtful. Take the initiative to help with the luggage, come back at night and smile and say hello to ask how the stay is, that kind of intimacy is like going to a friend's house, and the room change in the middle is also very straightforward. The room was clean and tidy, and the stay was very safe. Overall, the environment is extra points, the service is extra points, I will definitely choose this one next time I come here.
