Carlisle Hotels with Parking

Guest house was lovely, but room I stayed in was small with separate toilet. If I went back would book a ensuite room. As other guests were using same toilet and shower which was slippery if someone else had used shower. Owners were lovely and helpful. Didn't have breakfast there but other guests staying there said it was lovely.£10 per person for traditional English breakfast or continental. Would definitely recommend it but stay in ensuite with your own toilet and shower

The hotel I was originally booked in had a flood so at the last minute I had to find another one, I found  Arkale lodge and it didn’t disappoint, the rooms are pretty basic, but extremely clean which  in my book is more important than a fancy room. And certainly good enough for the price I paid, the gentleman that showed me around was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was from 7 which was perfect for my continuation of my Hadrians wall walk. The Breakfast was included in the room price and was exceptional (full English, which I easily adapted as a non meat eater)  It was plentiful, delicious and freshly made. And a great start to my long tiring day  Thank You so Much  For your kind hospitality  Cathie :)

The hotel is located in a small town with a very beautiful surrounding. It is very comfortable to walk around the hotel in the morning. The hotel rooms are also very beautiful and well-planned. When it is cold at night, you can turn on the heater, which is very warm and considerate! The breakfast is also delicious, and the dining environment is also very beautiful!

The hotel is in a great location, right in the city center, and very easy to find. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, giving us clear instructions for both check-in and parking. However, the room itself was a bit disappointing. As soon as we walked through the hallways, it was obvious that the hotel is quite old, probably around 40–50 years old. Thankfully, the room was reasonably clean, but the facilities were extremely outdated. There was no air conditioning, only a fan, so the room felt very hot and stuffy. A hairdryer was also not provided in the room and had to be requested separately from reception. That said, the front desk staff were always patient and willing to help whenever we needed anything. Overall, the service was good, but considering the outdated facilities and lack of air conditioning, I don’t think the room was worth the price we paid.

Worth considering if staying at carlisle. Basic no frills service for the price is definitely well worth

The hotel interior is looking rather tired, the corridors are stark and our room while spacious was unattractive. The bathroom was cramped and poorly designed. It was clean and tidy and the staff do the best they can with difficult facilities and surroundings.

Nice welcome bedroom and a good shower I will stay there again
