Myrdalshreppur Hotels with Parking

We had a wonderful stay at Black Beach Suites—my family absolutely loved it. The rooms are beautifully designed, with a darker interior that likely helps reduce light pollution for aurora viewing. We were fortunate enough to see the northern lights twice—once right after checking in near the reception area, and again in the middle of the night. In addition, the views of the Reynisfjara black sand beach just behind the hotel are absolutely stunning and add so much to the overall experience. We were only able to book one night as the rest of the dates were fully taken, which honestly says a lot about how popular this place is. The staff were friendly and helpful, even while busy managing the bar. I asked one of the staff members about weather and driving conditions for the rest of our trip around Iceland, and she went out of her way to provide useful information. The only downside was the sofa bed, which had a noticeable large dip in the middle and was quite uncomfortable compared to the main beds. It may benefit from an upgrade or an alternative setup.

The guesthouse was just expected. Extremely clean and warm. The restaurant food was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

The room was all right: spacious & comfortable mattress. The view from the room was not just the best (parking & houses in drums). The Guesthouse has two bathrooms, one mostly free. The kitchen and the ”habitat area” were very large and you could easily prepare dinner at six (3 rooms) at the same time without disturbing each other. A stay in this Guesthouse would I recommend at any time.
