Great
KKen LeeThis is my second stay this year, and I've had a very comfortable experience. The staff are polite and friendly, the rooms are clean, and there's convenient parking downstairs. There's also a 24-hour convenience store across the street The room also offers a view of Mount Fuji.
GGuest UserI had a great stay at this hotel. The service was excellent and I got breakfast and a complimentary drink per day included. My room had a view on Mount Fuji which I climbed up during my stay! It’s only a 5 minute walk away from Gotemba station where the busses to Fuji depart. I will stay here again if I come back.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is great, relatively close to the bus stop and the outlet mall, and a taxi ride doesn't cost much.
The hotel has a more American feel to it. The balcony is huge, and the room is quite spacious, plus it has a bathtub where you can relax with a nice soak.
The balcony faces Mount Fuji directly. When I checked in in the afternoon, clouds were covering it, so I couldn't see it, but in the morning, with the sun out, the view was incredibly clear, making it feel very close.
The hotel's breakfast also has an American style. Check-in and check-out are super convenient with QR codes, and they're very helpful with calling taxis!
There are also hot spring spots nearby that offer discount coupons! I booked a double room, but there were actually four beds, enough for six people. I later checked the prices on Trip.com, and even for four people, it wasn't much more expensive, so this room type is a great deal for large families!
GGuest UserThe hotel rooms are on the smaller side; there's only enough space to fully open one 24-inch suitcase. However, some rooms offer stunning views of Mount Fuji from their windows. There's a complimentary hot spring (onsen) available. The location is a bit remote, so to get to Gotemba Premium Outlets, you'll need to ask the front desk to arrange a taxi, which costs approximately 1100 JPY. The Outlets themselves feature many major brands, offering fantastic shopping with very friendly prices, including numerous Japan-exclusive items. For a quick meal, a McDonald's is conveniently located just a 7-minute walk away.
IIsaac ChuengThe shower design is very impractical. The showerhead is too low and there's no rainfall shower. The air conditioner blows directly onto the bed, which makes me wonder if guests would catch a cold in the summer. And for a 'king-sized bed' room, your idea is to just push two mattresses together? They're also soft mattresses, so anyone with back or neck problems should definitely reconsider.
RRiguidengshanmeishimeijingThe room has a direct view of Mount Fuji. Breakfast starts at 7 am, and I missed it for two days. 😥 One day I had to take the 6:45 am bus to Subashiriguchi 5th Station, and one day I had to catch the 7:05 am train... The hotel also increased the daily free draft beer, and I drank it both days. 🙏 Thank you very much. 🤗
GGuest UserWe ended up staying overnight at short notice and made a reservation for around 7:30pm on the day, but they were already ready and accommodating.
The bath was really nice.
There were a lot of high school students there on a training camp, but they were all very polite and well-behaved, so we didn't mind the student group at all.
We borrowed the board game Life and played it with our family every night.
GGuest UserMt. Fuji was right in front of us and the view was great, but the TV was small and very hard to see.
There was also mold on the ceiling and walls and the bathroom smelled bad, which was a bit unpleasant.
The woman at reception was very kind and pleasant to deal with.
Thank you very much.
QQuo LeI wasn't particularly particular about what I wanted, but I just wanted a place to sleep in a bed and have breakfast, so I found this place and booked it that day.
There was a self-service coffee machine and ice maker, and plenty of amenities. There was a large public bath, so I enjoyed it with my children.
The breakfast had a good selection of Japanese and Western food. The receptionist was also kind, so I was able to stay there with peace of mind.
The view of Mt. Fuji from the window was beautiful, which was amazing.
I'd like to stay here again if I have the opportunity!
GGuest UserThe best point is that the pot (kettle) is a large metal cup type. It has a shape that is easy to wash and there is no worry that it is not washed and it was clean and really helpful.
Breakfast was good to drink on the coffee server.
Easy to get to Gotemba station and convenience stores are nearby, so the location is great. For some reason, there was a midnight snack with the service, and I didn't have it this time, but it's the best.
Some people should note that the lighting in the room was orange (the washroom was white), and the joint bathing place and dressing room were small.
