The couple shop, very warm feeling. Grandpa and old lady are very enthusiastic, and the breakfast and dinner are delicious. Also free shuttle to the snow field and JR station, get off and live again.

Good premium hotel, high quality dinning. It was a bit far from the gondola and you have to kind of climb the hill to get to the entrance, which was sort of annoying. A place where you can upgrade to priority pass starts working too late to actually make it to the gondola in time for the fast track start time. We had some other things we noticed but overall it was a very nice experience.

The B&B is very close to Appi Plateau and provides ski pick-up and drop-off services. At the same time, other employees are also asked to take care of the pick-up and drop-off, so there is no problem for the B&B to go to the ski resort for easy skiing. The more problematic thing is how to get to the B&B. If you need to take a bus to get your ski equipment, it is quite a distance from the bus station to the B&B. It would be difficult to push your luggage for 20 minutes in the snow. If you ask the B&B owner to pick you up at the JR station, you will need to call to communicate, and there are pick-up time restrictions. The website does not explain this clearly. In addition, the communication between trip.com and the B&B is not very smooth. You have to confirm your accommodation by phone in person. The owner is also a chef, so he doesn't reply to emails very often. Trip.com AI online customer service cannot help. I think it would be ideal to drive here by yourself. I had a good breakfast and was ready to go skiing. But dinner is very simple and may be a bit full for some people. The B&B provides discounted ski tickets and ski equipment. Overall, I would be willing to stay at this B&B again if the problem of getting to the B&B can be solved.

This inn, though a bit old, is incredibly well-maintained and clean by the owner. What truly impressed me was that the affordable price included both breakfast and dinner, and you could genuinely feel the owner's passion in every dish. The owner was also very kind to drive guests to the train station, ski resort, school, or other places, which is a really unique touch. If you're traveling on a budget, you should definitely consider this thoughtful and affordable small inn! Lastly, I saw some comments saying the owner is a bit quiet, but I think that's absolutely fine! As long as they run the business with heart, guests will surely feel the sincerity. It's about a 5-minute drive from Appi Kogen Ski Resort. There were nine parking spaces, but in reality, only three were covered in snow. The entire facility is heated through floor heating, making it very warm. It was so warm that I struggled to adjust the temperature. The only amenities provided were towels; toothbrushes and other amenities were not provided. All the necessary cooking utensils and tableware were provided, so you could cook. There were condiments and expired food left behind by previous guests in the refrigerator. There was no dishwasher, toaster, or coffee pot, so it would be especially nice if there was one. Also, it was so warm that we frequently encountered stink bugs and other insects, even in the middle of winter... Since it was a private rental, it was great to have a large group of people and have fun without worrying about others.
