We had a pleasant stay. The premier garden cabin was just right for our family. It was a clean and instagrammable functional space. Kudos to the staff for being so helpful and maintaining the facilities.

Budget hotel, can meet our needs. Acceptable, because the economic strength of the region determines that it is not too high-end. The location is excellent and the surrounding shopping and dining are convenient.

Great hotel, 2 minute walk from main road which is great as main road is very bust and noisy, but can't hear anything from the hotel. Great sized rooms with plenty of space, slippers and gowns supplied. The pool on the top floor is fantastic, nice for a refreshing swim. Hotel is just around the corner from the Tagum bus terminal, so easily explore the area buy bus or private taxis. 💯 recommed Shine Boutique Hotel.

We ended up upgrading to a quad room (₱3,500). Since we already paid ₱2,510 for the double room, and they said it only actually costs ₱1,800, we were told to just add ₱1,700 instead of the ₱1,000 difference. Not sure how that adds up, but we didn’t have much choice but to upgrade. Another issue was the breakfast. Since we upgraded, it was supposed to include breakfast for 4, but when morning came, there was none because the cook was sick. Again, we had no choice. Check-out time is also quite early at 10 AM, which isn’t very convenient. Considering the total amount we paid, the overall experience didn’t really match the price—it felt a bit overpriced for what we got. On the positive side, the staff were somewhat friendly, which was okay. However, the beachfront area is quite small as well. Overall, not the best experience for the price.
