GGuest UserThis is the closest hotel to Laguna Beach. There is free tea and coffee in the morning at the hotel lobby bar, and free self-service refills. Everything is very good, except that it is expensive. The room decoration is nothing to evaluate. It is an ordinary resort hotel, and the bed is relatively soft. , a unique geographical location
GGuest UserThe facilities are very old, the toilet is filled with water manually intermittently, and the refrigerator makes a loud noise. The room is not soundproof. It's close to the beach and not far from restaurants and shopping streets. The location is good.
GGuest UserWould never stay here again! We had to contact the front desk twice within an hour of check in. Tub jets were disgusting. Sand in tub bottom of tub. Drain in tub clogged. Spot of what appeared to be blood in tub. Large stain on white duvet. Housekeeping came late the night we checked in (after a long day of travel) to change bedding and clean tub with bleach. The next day I asked for tub to be cleaned again as tub jets were still filthy and stain was still in tub. Maintenance came and drain was still not working. We basically had to stand in dirty water while we showered the whole weekend. I spoke to the hotel manager who comped about 1/3 of the cost of our stay for the weekend. We appreciate this, but the complete lack of cleanliness during a global pandemic was alarming.
The area was gorgeous. We loved the balcony in our room. There were a lot of stairs to get to or from our room, that could be an issue for some guests.
CChongGreat location - just a short walk to the beach and it’s not too far to walk to Heisler or the Main Street. Otherwise the free trolley has a stop nearby.
