"Reserved a room with the number provided. My family and I drove 255 miles to stay here for a fun family weekend. When checking in I find out they gave my reservation (2 beds non smoking) to someone else and had only a 1 bed smoking available. Front desk called manager and he said take it or go somewhere else, so I did. The best western right next door. BW told me this happens a lot at studio 6 101 bishop cir Pelham Al. The owner must have a first come first serve attitude and only cares about bodies in room vs customer service and hospitality. Green or plastic is their priority. Oh. This is at 10:30 pm. Good luck trying to call the after hour number. When they know your number they won’t answer. I used my son’s phone with a completely different area code and they answered."

"Eyes grew heavy and my sight grew dim, had to stop for the night. OK, not that bad a place, but for $140 with taxes, you’d expect excellence or some facsimile of it. The room is a suite with a fridge & micro, sitting area, and upgraded bathroom. What missed the mark was the missing light shade, missing plaster on the wall, mysterious clock alarm, and filthy carpet. On a bright note, breakfast was quite good and an assortment of hot and cold goodies to get you going and they opened at 6:30."
