"The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was good . There are also two lounges for the use of customers and the hotel is well-situated . Most staff were extremely pleasant , however I was shocked and disappointed by the lack of customer service and the rude attitude of the lady whom I believe is the owner , when I reported a broken tap in my room . She was non-apologetic and dismissive . It took one and a half days for a plumber to come and fix , by which time it was the last evening of our three night stay ."

"Fabulous place. Comfortable characterful bedrooms, comfortable beds, very quiet. Great guest lounges with books, and stuff for kids. The staff were amazing. We arrived after a long day walking to find that all dining options in village were closed but the hotel had prepared food trays for us in advance so we wouldn’t go hungry (excellent value and quality too). Breakfast was very good,lots of choice and excellent quality. Highly recommend."
