"The reception was nice and helpful. As well as the waitresses at the restaurant - always quick and efficient. I liked the two room apartment, but the cleaning has to be improved for sure. The food selection was not big, but there always something for me to choose from. The quality was rather an average... Breakfasts were quite simple and the main disappointment was coffee. The location was good as for me. You can walk to different sides by the beach or by the promenade. And the are is more peaceful than the part near the castle. On the last day I had a cleaning checking at 9 am if I already had left the room. Although, our group was supposed to check out only at 10 am. Was the price paid it was a good quality for money, but not for repeating."

"A disappointment, we had been there in April and everything was perfect. But we returned and found that the kitchen equipment was very poor, the toaster and coffee maker that we had enjoyed the previous time were not there and when we asked about them they told us that they were not for us, nothing about that was indicated in the reservation. The first day they did not make up the room for us. We will not return."

Hotel Boutique la Mar - Adults Only

"This was our first time in Pensacola and the Boutique La Mar was the perfect choice to stay. The location is fantastic, directly under the Old Town walls. Less than 3 minutes walk into the Old Town or to the new town and the beach. The hotel itself is very nice. The rooms are on the small side but very comfortable. Some shelves or more storage space would be great but ok for a shortish stay. The bathroom was very nice with a great shower, but not very well designed, as the water from the shower ran out into the bedroom and the bathroom door was warped as a result. The roof terrace is lovely and has a great view over the beach and the new town. Breakfast costs 12 euros extra pp per day, and was ok but not great value in our opinion. They use a menu system rather than a buffet and it never changed, so got a bit boring after a while. A serve-yourself buffet would be a lot better in our opinion, so that all one would need to order would be the hot (eggs) options. We didn't use the restaurant for lunch or dinner, as the prices seemed very high. The staff were good, but with the exception of Martin (the manager?) and Joel (at breakfast) could have been friendlier, even if they didn't actually mean it. All in all I would recommend the Boutique La Mar, especially for the location."

"I understand that there are businesses that don't want the issue of “gave cash” because they pay less than if they book directly to customers. But the platforms of these cash cash make advertising of the locals, and that's what they have to pay in some way. If any business doesn't want to belong to these platforms, let your ads be removed from your webs and others. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. I doubt that if I had asked for full pension, when I was given food. We arrived soon (12:00) we approached the hotel to tell them that we were already there, for if there was a possibility, to get in the room before to get out of baggage and get out to know the environment. "Clean hotel. Welcoming staff. Decent breakfast with a good selection. Sea view. Staff didn't speak any French. Be aware there's no soundproofing, so you can hear everything the upstairs neighbors do, including the toilets flushing. Many Spanish families don't respect the peace and quiet of a hotel or the other guests. We had a Spanish family with children who shouted above us and made noise until about 11:00 or 11:30 PM every day, so don't expect to go to bed before then. The swimming pool is 200 meters from the hotel, but the water slides are only accessible from 5:00 PM."
