However, checking in as a foreign guest proved to be a bit challenging, despite the hotel's claim of being welcoming to both locals and international travelers. It would be helpful if the check-in process were made smoother for non-Chinese guests. Overall, a good experience in terms of cleanliness and comfort, with just a bit of room for improvement in the check-in process for foreigners.

It's definitely a ghost town; the surrounding area is deserted and there aren't many restaurants. I doubt anyone would stay here. I heard the rent nearby is only 500 yuan a month. The room hadn't been cleaned for a long time. I asked the waiter to change rooms once. The first room smelled of urine, which was unbearable. The second room was relatively better, but still dusty. 國慶期間帶娃出行，原定嵊泗停航泡湯，10/1上午決定去啟東趕海，恆大威尼斯酒店1800元多一晚勸退，就找了家評論尚可的民宿。下單後直接電話聯繫商家，給了管家的v信，管家推了地址房間密碼和一系列入住事項。到地後發現恆大威尼斯是個很大的小區，十幾還是二十幾幢樓，都是投資民宿或自購養老度假的，日常自住相當少，難怪1號還能訂到第二天的房，房源是真多。定的民宿算海景房，20樓視野還行，能看到海但角度不好，正經要看海還是要去海邊，小區有小路5分鐘走路可到海邊，如果不是靠海的樓需要開車停到小區邊上，再走出去。住這裏必須要開車，小區太大要走斷腿，停車方便，樓下自己找空的停，停車費5元/天，如果一天內多次進出也是5元一次。房間就是兩室一廳，一次性用具都很一般，好在我們都自己帶了，有冰箱洗衣機晾衣架，熱水器挺快，廚房有煤氣灶，睡覺要把廁所門帶上，下水道的味有點重。小區裏有小潤髮和幾家私人小超市，吃的用的缺啥都可以這裏補齊。小區沿街有好幾家飯店，海鮮家常菜燒烤餛飩東北菜牛肉麪，差別不大沒什麼特別難吃的，十一期間店家人手少吃飯的客人多，上菜速度跟不上，一般都要等45分鐘以上。趕海離黃金海灘近開車十分鐘但啥也沒撈到都享受日曬和海浪沖腳了，十里海灣去的時候退潮了還撈到一些，趕海的話“潮汐表精靈”app下好看趕海時間推薦。
