"An excellent hotel. I was initially torn between Nantong Hotel and this one, but ultimately decided on this property. It's located in the new district, so having your own car would be most convenient. The room was a good size, spotlessly clean, and had excellent soundproofing (I had a very quiet night's sleep). The breakfast restaurant is spacious, and the eggplant pancakes and Qidong savory wraps are specialties. We had executive lounge access, and the staff on the 28th floor were all incredibly warm and attentive. It was a pleasant surprise that the afternoon tea snacks were different on both days. If you're visiting Qidong, staying here is highly recommended!"

"This stay was disappointing. This newly opened Holiday Inn Resort hasn't officially been rated, but it's positioned as a mid-range hotel like InterContinental or IHG, with room rates around 500 RMB, comparable to four-star (high-end) hotels. Surprisingly, it didn't even have a refrigerator in the room. If this is due to cost-cutting, I can understand, as similar hotels often have this issue. Regarding service: 1. The check-in experience was poor. I checked in around 2 PM and was told my room wasn't ready, leaving us to wait. There was no basic reception or guidance to help us relax; many foreign guests were also just standing there. 2. Delivery drivers weren't allowed to bring food upstairs. This might be understandable given the hotel's safety concerns. The handsome guy on duty at the front desk helped once, but the second time he was extremely perfunctory, claiming he was too busy and told customers to come downstairs to pick it up themselves. I understood it might be due to peak check-in time, but when I went downstairs to get my food, I found the front desk and lobby staff chatting idly. It's clear that most of the hotel staff are unfamiliar with the service SOPs, and management lacks the ability to handle customer complaints and special events."

"Halfway through the shower, the water stopped being hot. I took a semi-cold shower in the middle of winter, and the air conditioner in the room couldn't turn on the heat. Finally, the waiter brought a heater. The price of more than 2,000 a night and the facilities were comparable to those of surrounding farmhouses. The price/performance ratio is too bad"

"Our family enjoyed the time here at this property. The view was spectacular and getting to the Venice beach area was quick. The apartment is tastefully furnished, is clean and comfortable. We did have to get to the property manager first and then interact to get the apartment and location details. We were let on our own to find the apartment and figure out the code (lock did not work initially). However, the manager was very responsive on WeChat and also helped with some guidance on tourism places. Having a car to drive around is recommended overall for Qidong; there a limited shops and restaurants in vicinity and even the ones within 1 Km radius have delayed opening times."

"I read the reviews online, some good and some bad, and booked a room with the intention of giving it a try. It was completely beyond my expectations. I could feel the owner's care as soon as I opened the door. The room was very cozy and the light was very good. When the weather was fine, I could take a walk on the beach, which was perfect for relaxation. When I asked the customer service butler about the fun places here, he would reply to me very attentively. Overall, I felt good staying here. When I get older, I will consider buying a house here for retirement."

"The hotel location was quite desolate since we arrived at night, and I regretted not booking a room in the city center. Surprisingly, there was no refrigerator in the room. Does the Holiday Inn not provide refrigerators? Or was this particular room simply missing one? There was a note left on the bar by the housekeeping staff, presumably as a gesture of concern… but the note was dirty and old… I forgot to take a picture… On the positive side, the receptionist was very kind and polite."
