"Lovely location. Basic but functional accommodation. Staff very polite and helpful. Food has been a mixed bag. Loved the salads, trying local foods, and no upset tummy's but felt very samie and getting bored by the end of the week. Fruit very tasty. We hired a car for 4 days and travelled to Sparta, Ancient Olympia, a local beach and waterfalls. Overall very happy with our stay here, just needs polishing up with some things as example - coffee machines, shower head in our room, door locks ect."

"It was a nice stay in general. The residence was quite big, clean and modern, with a lot of electric sockets in all rooms, even in bathroom. It had a great view of the sea. When we asked for a pillow as we were 4 persons and there were 3 available, the responsible person brought it to us on the next day (she tried to bring it on the same day but by mistake she left it in another residence). We did not have any issue with insects as all windows and external doors (except bathroom) had a mesh screen, and it was possible for us to stay late at night on the balcony, playing board games without issue. The only drawbacks: 1) Passage from parking area to residence did not have enough light so we had to use our mobile phones' strong light, and 2) The access from the road was easy to lose if you do not know the area (we know the area so we did not have an issue). A good quick solution for visitors is to have the big hotel Sunrise Hotel as a spot that is in the same turn of the road. However, residence owner should change the current Hotel sign with one with light or at least with one with light reflection so that it can easily be seen at night. By the way, the property did not send us check-in instructions via email before arrival, but we called the owner 1 day before arrival date and he provided the instructions needed: if someone wants to use a map app, they need to use the iMaps app in an iOS device, if available, as google maps does not lead you correctly to the hotel. Another good suggestion would be to add 1-2 11 kW chargers for electric cars in the parking area. I could not use my electric car in these holidays as there was no fast charger close to the area, so I had to get the one using unleaded gas (not the best option for me). Adding such chargers will give important advantage to the hotel owner versus the other hotels that have not installed one yet as more and more people are using electric cars (just consider that the company I work for have globally decided to change its global car fleet to electric cars until end of 2025). In our Greek affiliate, we will complete this change by end of 2024, so that about 110 cars will all be electric until then (and just consider that this is just a single company, while more and more companies worldwide are switching their fleets to electric cars)."

"The hotel was beautiful, it is right beside the port and the beach is 150m either side away, The staff especially Anna Maria were excellent, they cleaned our rooms everyday even on a Sunday. George our taxi driver was the best company wherever he took us. I can't express how beautiful the food was, everything was perfection. The views from our room was port side and was breath taking."

"Very beautiful property by the beach with magnificent bay views. Rooms are big and modern with very comfy beds and pillows. Several pools with plenty of sunloungers and extra fluffy towels. Very good quality breakfast with extensive choice, and many food options for dinner in the Agora “village” within the premises. The only issue is the service at breakfast, which is lacklustre and feels a bit chaotic. All in all, I will recommend this hotel and will be glad to stay here again!"

"A great welcome by knowledgable receptionist and the hotel is in an excellent location. All appeared perfect. Unfortunately the beds and pillows are very hard, that along with the motorbikes racing up and down outside in the early hours meant we got no sleep."

"What a wonderful stay at the Romanos hotel . Sun, sea superb service what is not to like . The resort is gorgeous . We enjoyed the adult only pool . We ate around the resort . Enjoyed the restaurant at the golf club , the W hotel and the outstanding mandarin oriental . The concierge helped with all the bookings. Advice is have a few booked before arrival as it does get busy in high season . We enjoyed the padel courts and hired bikes to get out and about . There is a shuttle bus which comes in handy to get to the other hotels . Would definitely go back"

"The hotel is a bit remote, but beautiful. It's a standalone building, so you have to walk from reception through the street parking lot. There's no coffee maker in the room, and they didn't even provide instant coffee, which was disappointing."
