"Dated musty smelling tatty old motel style place. No lift although they did carry my case up and down for me. Security was poor in that they left the rooms security door wedged open during the day. There is a Beefeater attached where I had dinner one evening, nice waiter but the restaurant manager was extremely rude to a couple on a table near me. Biggest problem - I was there to rest and was woken just after 7am by a delivery lorry chucking crates down which they denied had happened! Not up to standard at all."

"The place is an excellent place to stay. The rooms set out in the garden, are superb, and as they say a large bed, is very true, and extremely comfortable. We ere lucky as our table and chairs outside were in the full morning sun, so we were able to take our morning tea in a great setting. Sadly though this visit was spoilt for us by the evening menu on Thursdays. Burgers or burgers and not cheap, it is also worth while reading the very small and faint printing at the bottom of the menu in regard to tipping ( which due to said state of printing ) we missed. It’s tells you the a tip of 12.5% will be added to your bill as a tip, unless you state otherwise. Yes we were caught out by this. On the other hand our breakfasts could not be faulted, the were very, very good. Would we stay there again, yes! But not on a Thursday and make sure we take our readings glasses to read the menu properly."

"Copper Beeches B & B has all you need if you are walking the South Downs Way. The accommodation is clean and comfortable with an exceptionally good breakfast and a warm welcome from Janet. It is only 15 minutes off the SDW path. We ate in Buriton late afternoon and arrived at the B & B early evening and had a very good night's sleep."

"Went for lunch today this was not our first visit was so disappointed with my meal the belly pork had a slimy skin on top inside a big piece of bone overcooked potatoes and greens were cold did not complain as there was only one young lady serving and she was rushed off her feet I expected more from this pub "
