"We were not offered or told parking was extra. No parking was available at the motel when we arrived. We could not drive up to the door to check in, the check in desk  did not have vehicular access to check- in or unload our luggage. Hard when there is a mobility issue. We were told our room was close to the lift. It was not. No milk in the room. We had to ask. It was delivered promptly when we did. The room was lovely and clean. Providing hand cream, and shower cap would be appreciated."

"Our wedding anniversary stay at Jamala Wildlife Lodge was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a truly luxurious and unforgettable experience. The accommodation was absolutely stunning—beautifully appointed, impeccably clean, and offering the incredible opportunity to be immersed in the wildlife. Waking up to the animals each morning was magical and unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. The staff deserve special recognition. Every single person we encountered was warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making our stay exceptional. Their hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome and added such a personal touch to our anniversary celebration. The dining experience was outstanding. Every meal was beautifully presented, expertly prepared, and absolutely delicious. It was clear that great care goes into every aspect of the food and service. The animal encounters were undoubtedly the highlight of our stay. Being able to get so close to such magnificent animals while learning about them from the knowledgeable keepers was both exciting and inspiring. The dedication of everyone involved in the conservation and care of the animals shines through in everything they do. Jamala Wildlife Lodge is so much more than luxury accommodation—it’s an experience that creates memories to last a lifetime. Celebrating our wedding anniversary here made the occasion even more special, and we left feeling relaxed, inspired, and incredibly grateful. Thank you to the entire Jamala team for giving us an anniversary we’ll never forget. We cannot wait to return and would recommend this truly unique experience to anyone looking for something extraordinary."

"We stayed in the tiger bungalow for a night as a family of 4 and it did not disappoint. The room was beautifully furnished, clean, with a huge bathtub and king sized bed (and a sofa bed for the kids - very thin mattress). After having a look at the room we visited the gift shop and on our return the tiger named Ravi had made himself comfortable in his bed of hay right next to the glass. The kids loved being just a pane of glass away from such a beauty of a animal. Ravi was not phased by our presence at all and appeared to be very comfortable by the glass. The tiger was quiet for most of the night except for for 3am where he had a bit to say. Very cool experience. Dinner included a visit from a white who stayed around for about 10 minutes and the hyenes stayed for most of the dinner. After the kids ate their meals they were taken for a tour of the aquarium so the adults could have their main meals without interruption. We paid approx $4.4k for a family of four. Whilst it was an incredible experience that we wont forget, I do believe it was a little overpriced. Overall if its within your budget, I would absolutely recommend. We requested the tiger bungalow as our children are 6 & 8 and there was age restrictions for some of the animals. If this wasn't the case we would of booked the lion bungalow as there was a family of lions for this bungalow including playful cubs."
