"It was a last-minute decision to bring the kids to Phillip Island, so I booked this resort. It's very close to the beach, and since it was winter, it was quite windy, so we just took a quick walk by the sea in the morning. We didn't book a room right by the beach. My friends did, and those villas near the sea are actually converted shipping containers. After watching the Penguin Parade, we wanted to eat at the resort's restaurant, but we forgot to make a reservation, so we had to drive to another restaurant nearby. A friendly reminder to fellow travelers: if you're returning to the resort after the Penguin Parade, definitely remember to book your meals! Check-in is after 2 PM, and check-out is before 10 AM. We arrived at 12:30 PM, which was a bit awkward. Communication didn't help, so we had to wait until after 2 PM. The staff here finish at 5 PM, and by the time we got back after seeing the penguins, it was already 6:30 PM and pitch black. It took us a while to find our room. Self-check-in wasn't too difficult though; they just tell you the password for the keyless entry, and you go straight in. The room has a fridge and a microwave, so heating up milk or similar things wasn't an issue."

"Had a wonderful stay here! It was easy to find this hotel and the check-in process was smooth and pleasant. There were plenty of parking lots for us to park our car and when we entered our room we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious and clean it was! Our room was situated on the first floor and we had a floor-to-ceiling window / sliding door which was facing the sea, which was amazing! The beds were large and comfortable and there were enough space to open 3 big luggages flat on the floor. One highlight of the room would definitely be the toilet - it had a huge mirror with a longgg counter and lots of space for us girls to stand and do our makeup in the morning 😂 which was really an unexpected plus point. One thing to note though, is the lack of microwave and kitchen! Or else overall, highly recommend."

"We stayed at Boat House for two nights. Although the location is a bit far away, it is very convenient to travel by car. The decoration of the house is very good. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. Breakfast is ready before check-in. There are eggs, bacon, milk, juice, square bags, coffee, etc., just need to cook by yourself. But all cooking is fully equipped, the living room and toilet have heating, there is a washing machine dryer next to the entrance, the overall accommodation is very satisfactory, and there is a window in the house to see the beautiful sea view !"

"Facilities: It is a B&B with a beautiful appearance. You can watch the stars at night and see the penguins in 5 minutes by car. The bed was old and very soft. Need to request a hairdryer in advance. The breakfast is simple and not large in quantity. The facilities are not worth it for this price and are not very cost-effective. The main selling point is the superior location. The landlady was very welcoming. Hygiene: Cleanliness is good Environment: Quiet homestay experience, very special Advance reservation is required, especially for weekend stays"
