"The scenery was alright, with a direct view of the Yellow River from the courtyard. But aside from the scenery, everything else was lacking. While I could tolerate the insects and geckos in the rooms, the cabinets and other fixtures were all broken and unusable, and the place was unclean. But the most unbearable thing was the food. The stewed ribs we ordered were clearly frozen meat that had been sitting there for ages; it tasted stale and was burnt after reheating. The rice smelled like a rotten rag, and the chili oil also tasted rancid. The stew was tasteless and bland. We went to the kitchen to add more seasoning, but it didn't salvage the situation. And wouldn't you know it, the people at the next table were also complaining. We ended up going out to buy instant noodles, ugh! While eating noodles in the courtyard, the other guests were also complaining. We just thought we'd make do and leave early the next day! Think about it. 🤣"
